I booked the room for my boss. I read a lot of other people's comments before booking the room. I felt it was good, so I booked it. According to the boss's feedback, he was very satisfied. The environment and hygiene were very good, and the service was meticulous and thoughtful. I hope I can enjoy the service here again next time I travel.

The hotel is enough for family stay.
Hotel provided complimentary breakfast. However, I think maybe is too many guests staying in the hotel, the breakfast has not prepared enough the portion of the breakfast for the guest, it has cost us can’t get/ need to wait quite long for them to replenish the foods .
Additionally, even though the hotel is 10minutes walk from Limehouse subway, but it was quite far from centre.

Price would good when booked early enough. Location is good, walking distance to Borough Market and Tate Modern, though it’s a little far to the Underground and not many buses going nearby.
Multiple small supermarkets nearby.
Recommend Tony’s cafe nearby as a great breakfast place. Breakfast is good and included with every room. Would stay again.

The room is big and view to the Tower of Londen is good on high floors. There are coffee machine, microwave, stove and washing machine inside the room, good enough for a few days stay. Location is very close to the metro station, and is convenient to take the circle line metro to many other places.
First day arrival at the hotel was a bit dusty and stains on the floors, but they cleaned up the day after.
Even though it was supposed to be a smoke-free hotel, there’s a strong smoking smell inside the room, and couldn’t get rid of the smell even we opened up the window, the smell remained even after our 5-nights stay.

Location, room decor and cleanliness perfect. Breakfast was fantastic. However our second night was horrendous and got no sleep due to a loud humming noise coming from somewhere which kept us up all night. Would love to stay again but would be weary due to this issue.

My experience at this hotel was truly awful!
Firstly, despite having numerous rooms, the hotel's public transport access is mediocre; it's over a 10-minute walk to the nearest station. Inside the room, the lampshade was wobbly, and they were incredibly stingy with tissues (the box was empty after just a few pulls).
Secondly, when the shower drain was blocked, I called maintenance. The person who came simply pulled out the drain cover as a 'fix'.
Thirdly, and most critically, the air conditioning was broken, making the room stiflingly hot. There was a noticeable temperature difference between the room and the hallway when the door was opened, which even the maintenance staff acknowledged. Their astonishing 'solution' was to provide me with a fan.
I went down to the front desk to request a room change, but a young night shift attendant mumbled that all rooms were booked. He vaguely promised some compensation at check-out the next day, without specifying what it would be. Because it was too hot to sleep, at 12 AM, I went downstairs in my pajamas and firmly demanded a room change. After another 20-minute wait, we finally moved to another room. They offered an apology and asked if we wanted water or something else. We asked for water, and to our dismay, they sent an unsealed bottle of what looked like tap water they'd filled themselves! (How did they even have the nerve to send something like that!)
I couldn't help but wonder if they were trying to rip off Chinese guests like this, especially for a 1900-yuan room. The more I thought about it, the angrier I got, so I went back down to ask if they had sealed small bottled water. The front desk attendant immediately understood and promptly sent a proper sealed bottle! So, they had them all along! If my English were better, I would have given them a piece of my mind right there and then!
Does one bottle of water really compensate for losing sleep in the middle of the night and the ordeal of moving rooms with all our luggage? The hotel's service is dreadful and incredibly stingy! An utterly terrible experience!

Returned again after my pleasant stay last time. This time was again good however being located on the ground floor, you experience a lot of noise and the occasional draft of cigarette smoke. However still remained a pleasant and very clean 3 day stay with exceptionally friendly staff.

Great location, otherwise average.
It was great as a transit hotel (needed to travel by train to other places across a few days) but it was not a particularly noteworthy hotel stay experience otherwise.
We always had to ask for still water from reception (it wasn't always automatically refilled) and when we asked earlier in the morning before 8:30, we were told that housekeeping wasn't up yet (although reception did bring it to us. The elevators also need to be fixed - we were stuck in the middle elevator for a bit when the lift did not open to our level. The elevator on the right also needs to be fixed - the level indicator display was broken. Overall, I found the furniture of the hotel to be a bit old and the hotel can do with a freshening up. We also had some tech issue with card keys which didn’t work and we had to go down to the lobby twice to get them fixed.
One of London’s most iconic hotels, The Royal Horseguards features over 280 bedrooms and suites. Walking distance from Charing Cross, Westminster & Embankment stations. The hotel is only 43min from Heathrow. Perfectly located close to Westminster, London Eye & Trafalgar Square. After a busy day enjoy dinner at One Twenty One Two Restaurant or a drink at the Equus Bar. In the summer, the outdoor terrace can be booked for private events. This impressive building is also home to 16 meeting rooms including One Whitehall Place, which is one of the most unique banquet and conference venues in West London.

My husband and I stay here every time we are in London. The staff are the stars of the show - friendly, helpful and professional. The interior and exterior of the hotel are beautiful and the facilities are well-maintained.
The hotel is conveniently located and a stone's throw away from Westminster Palace, The London Eye, Soho and miscellaneous shops, bars and restaurants.
Would definitely recommend.

Great
GGexing~tianxiaThe rooms are pristine and, despite the hotel being open for just a year, there was no unpleasant dampness or strange smell from the water. The service was also excellent. It appears the hotel uses a water softening system, as my hair felt incredibly smooth after washing. The complimentary bottled water is also a custom-branded mineral water, which adds a touch of sophistication.
While not in the city centre, the hotel boasts excellent transport links. It's particularly well-served by buses; route 55 goes directly to Oxford Street, and route 205 takes you to King's Cross Station (convenient for trains to Cambridge and other cities). It's incredibly easy to get around from here – just remember to check the bus direction! When returning to the hotel, it's actually closer to alight at the bus stop after Old Street and walk from there.
Overall, this hotel offers fantastic value for money. Perhaps because it's a newly opened hotel still in its introductory phase, securing an Executive Room in London for just over 2000 RMB is genuinely a great deal.
OOllieSmithOne night stay at heathrow after a flight.
Emailed hotel the night before to ask for a nice view as it was my brothers birthday treat and he loved watching the planes. Had already booked a runway view room but some are on lower floors so more restricted. On arrival at the hotel they had upgraded us to a suite which was a really lovely gesture however we had booked a twin and the suite was a double. We asked for the sofa bed to be made up. After 4 visits to reception and a 5 hour wait, housekeeping finally made up the sofa bed. By this point we were extremely tired as we'd had a really long day so it did damper our experience a little. The birthday cake and note in the suite were a lovely touch.
With the upgrade, we were given access to the executive lounge which has a great view over the runway to watch the planes. Drinks available all day with alcohol in the evening and canapés. Unlike every other executive lounge ive been to, the canapés were served plated to your table which seemed a little strange and also made the service very slow as the lounge was full. Also meant there was a higher level of wastage as people didnt want some of the selection. Based on this visit, I wouldn't book a room for the lounge access. There are much better hotels at the airport with better lounges if that's what your looking for.
Beds were extremely comfortable. Lovely bathroom. Again, great view of the runway. Aircon wouldn't go below 20 which was a little annoying with how warm London is at the moment.
Great selection at breakfast. Friendly staff. Delicious food.
I would stay here again but wouldn't worry about access to the executive lounge as that was disappointing.
MMelissaWe're a family of 4 with 2 young children and booked the studio. But when we arrived, we were told that the room had no electricity and so split us into 2 rooms instead.
While the rooms were generally clean, most of the bath towels had brown patches or old blood stains on them which was quite gross. 1 room that we were assigned to also had a weird fishy smell at the stove area.
The hotel is about 7 min walk from Aldgate East tube station and is located on quiet street. This is not a very pleasant area, and there were always shady characters around the tube station, which made us feel uncomfortable, so we tried not to stay out too late.
Staff were friendly and accommodating but they appeared short staffed during check in / check out timings. Only 2 staff on duty, so there is a bit of a wait if you need their help at these times.
Ssalaudin lunatWe stayed at Holiday Inn (Sutton) for the Spring Bank Holiday. It's in great location as there is lots to do and see nearby. Great places to eat. Public transport not too far (trains or buses). I highly recommend this 4* hotel. It has Jacuzzi (not working while our stay), swimming pool, steam room and sauna. All free to use. All staff are friendly.Superb breakfasts. Parking not free at the hotel.
GGuest UserI am satisfied with the location and the modern environment of the hotel itself (not the unreasonable tiny space of a standard double room - a pot 8sqm double room), but this is the worst hotel experience my family and I have ever had.
My mother is an old lady who is almost 70 years old. She fell down at the hotel entrance on the day we checked in. We noticed that the ground at the hotel entrance was designed with a ramp to facilitate access for disabled people who need to use wheelchairs, but there was a small gap and height difference between the entrance and the ramp, which caused my mother to fall very badly.
We booked the pot 8sqm double room for 4 nights in this hotel, the space was really incredibly small. The only thing I could thought of was to ask the hotel whether they could upgrade us to a slightly larger room to accommodate an injured elderly person, and the hotel catered our needs. The Front Office and Operations Manager Rax explained that due to the design of the hotel, the small rooms are on the floors above the ground, whilst the large rooms are in the basement of the hotel, so the only room we can move to is located in the basement of the hote, and we could only be able to move on the second day of our stayl. Although this statement is not very reasonable, the situation in the basement is acceptable.
The second unpleasant and terrifying experience was that I was taking a shower in the bathroom in the room while my mother was having coffee in the hotel lobby at night, and there was no one else in the room except me. While I was showering, the lights in the bathroom suddenly went out completely, while the water was still running normally. This was definitely the most horrible hotel experience ever. I was so flustered, trying so hard to find the water faucet in the dark and turn it off. Once I opened the glass door of the shower room, the lights came back on. I hurriedly finished my shower and went to the hotel front desk, I saw Rax and reported this issue to him.
From his reaction to me when he knew about this, I didn't feel that he had any empathy or sympathy for the terrible thing I had gone through. He explained that the hotel had a new motion sensor that would cause the lights in the room to turn off if there was no movement in the room. He even argued with me that it wasn't a big deal that the light went out during the shower.
I suggested that he could explain this new feature of their hotel to guests when they check in, so that if guests encounter a similar situation, at least they will feel less panicked. He told me that even if he knew it in advance, he would not feel better. I was really amazed by the responses as a Front Office and Operations Manager.
On the third day of our stay, when I was putting on makeup in the room and getting ready to go out, the alarm suddenly sounded. When we were trying to calm down from the unpleasant experiences we had encountered in just two days, suddenly these things that made us irritable and uneasy happened again, which really drive us crazy. I then met the Front Office Supervisor Asher at the lobby, he tried to understand our experiences patiently, and gave apologies on behalf of the hotel. He offered us free breakfast on the forth day morning which we did not ask for. Asher also talked to me sincerely, and that he would talk to the General Manager of the hotel about our case, and let the GM to have a talk with us too. I think this is the kind of attitude and crisis handling method a hotel employee should have.
Finally I want to say that although my family and I have been a member of the Marriott group for many years, we will no longer stay in any of their hotels and any type of accommodation.
GGuest UserIf you’re booking for the location then it’s a 10/10. Pods are a few minutes away which makes making your flight a breeze.
Beds and duvets are comfortable however i slept without pillows as i can only sleep flat. They’re only double pillows. Not a good sleep on that part as there’s no spares.
Hotel has no lift, but the first floor doesn’t have many stairs so not too much of an issue.
Beers are around £7 which is expected for a hotel near the airport. Good view overlooking the runway.
For a nights stay it’s a good deal, my second time I’ve been here now.
My only issue would be the pillows, with neck issues a lower pillow makes a huge difference.
MM Alan AExcellent location within a 5 minute walk to Paddington Station. Other than this point, I was disappointed with the Hotel. Cost per night was quite high for what was their offering ... had to climb a shallow step stairs from street to lobby (no ramp), which was slippery when wet from rain/morning dew. Room was exceeding small and could not access the safe (on floor of closet ... needed to move bed to access closet), no functonal deadlock on door, shower and sink hard to access (medium sized adult) and no working A/C (though on the 4th night, they did bring me a stand up fan). Phone was also non-operational.
AAnonymous UserStrategic location which is very near to the tube station (Bayswater), but this tube station has no lift, not convenient for those with big luggage.
The hotel room is quite small, the wall is also very thin, and you can listen to the noise from neighbours. The corridor is also very narrow.
Overall, it is a good stay for those who need a budget hotel and with easy access to tube station.
BBehekEverything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).
