Its location is fine and not far from railway station and be surrounded by attractive places. Nice and warm place to live in Whitby.

I've stayed at Argyle House twice now, the first time with friends and a second time with my partner. Bills guesthouse is wonderful! The beds are super comfortable, the interior of the rooms are amazing and quirky and Bill is a fantastic host. He was flexible with check in letting us check in nice and early with out bags ensuring we could spend the day walking around whitby. I would recommend Argyle House to anyone and I will definitely be back! Thank you Bill.

Me and my Son stayed at Argyle house for three days 5th-7th August The B&B was really nice, very clean too. The host Billy and his staff were very helpful and the breakfasts were lovely. Lots to do there and only being about 5 minutes from the town centre and a couple of minutes from the sea front at West cliff. I would definitely recommend Argyle House to anyone visiting Whitby.

Visiting Whitby for an anniverary weekend, and received a warmwelcome from Bill the owner. We were shown to our room, which was very nicely fitted out and quiet at nights - except for a stool there was nowhere to sit except on the bed. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, and the cooked breakfast was exceptional - the eggs par excellence!

Lovely guest house close to Whitby town and amenities and immaculately clean rooms also comfy beds. Always a warm welcome by Bill and his team when we arrive and cooks a excellent Full English breakfast with plenty of other choices on the menu . We have stayed at the Argyle guest house for or many years and looking forward to the next one. Dave and Margaret Ashmore

Had spoken on the phone with Bill prior to arrival so we knew how the parking/check in process was going to work. On the day it was very slick, get parking permit, find a space, it was easy. The room was ready and it was a nice neat room so 20 mins later we were at the regatta fair. Breakfast was delicious and quite adequate. Altogether a very pleasant experience, many thanks to Bill & the team.
