Delightful hotel. Very nice and welcoming couple. Hotel was spotless and decorated to the highest standards. Breakfast was brilliant and so much choice. Definitely go again. Close to everything.

This is a must stay!! The view is glorious, the rooms are beautifully cared for and the breakfast is lavish. The small touches are further evidence of how attentive Jonathan and Karen are, and their personal interest in every guest made all feel warm and welcome. My sister and I have just had a wonderful weekend at Gloucester House. Jonathan was very helpful and attentive throughout. The breakfasts were amongst the best I've ever had. (Beautiful cooking from Karen - perfect poached eggs!) Beautiful rooms, soft carpets, thick curtains (plus blackout blind). Ideal situation on the sea front - just a few minutes from station in one direction, and a few minutes from the heart of the leisure area (restaurants, bars) and shops in the other direction. Highly recommend.
