What an amazing place! When you’re looking for a very special place to stay that’s your hotel. Every room is different and tells a story. You can clearly see the owners hand writing and love to decorate. The Lady of the house is a charming, energetic and very welcoming host. Anything you wish you’ll get. The rooms are clean, very comfortable bed and feel more like staying with a friend than a hotel overnight. Great breakfast in the morning catering for all your individual needs and wishes. I give it maximum recommendation and would choose it every day. A place you won’t forget.

Booked a last minute one night stay, but after staying with Maxine for just a few hours we’re already planning to visit again. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels and guest houses but have never felt so welcomed as we did with Maxine and this was after we arrived late. The rooms are perfect with great views, and the breakfast was delicious. My daughter had just finished a sea cadet voyage as we were getting ready for breakfast which is why we were in Weymouth, and Maxine arranged a full cooked breakfast for her and just made her feel great after a long week sailing. Fantastic host and a great character.

What an amazing experience!!. We vist Weymouth for an anniversary break every May This has been the best hotel with a truly, lovely host, Maxine. She's so fun & friendly and very accommodating Beautiful views in all rooms. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, and ideal location for beach or harbour.

We had such a good experience. Maxine was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were delightful, the beds were extremely comfortable. We had room 2 and room 5, both had excellent views and the amenities were just as described. Very quiet and comfortable. Lots of thought put into our needs. The location is excellent, we were able to walk from the train station and it's next to the beach and close to the harbour bars and restaurants. The decor is utterly memorable and the breakfast was faultless. I totally recommend a stay here with Maxine.

This was my second visit to this beautiful B&B, and it was just as wonderful as the first — if not better. The host, she is absolutely amazing: so welcoming, kind, and genuinely thoughtful. She truly goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The rooms are perfect — beautifully decorated with a lovely attention to detail, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the stunning views each morning is such a treat and adds to the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. It’s clear why I came back, and I already know it won’t be my last stay here. I originally booked one night away with my daughter for my birthday, but soon after we arrived we realised one night wasn't enough and so we added an extra night. I wish we could've stayed longer. We loved everything about the guesthouse. The rooms are all unique, with their own theme. The location couldn't be more perfect, right by the beach and harbour, and there are some incredible views from the rooms. It's also a few minutes walk from the town centre, which has a great mix of shops and restaurants. Maxine, the owner, was so welcoming and helpful and made our stay extra special. We're already planning when we can return!

One of the most unique experiences I’ve ever had. This place is truly one of a kind — with super comfy beds, a delicious breakfast, incredible decor, and an amazing host! Maxine was very welcoming and gave us great recommendations for things to do in Weymouth! The location was absolutely perfect, right across from the beach, beautiful views of the harbour from our room and a close walk to all the great pubs and restaurants! Would highly recommend The Ocean guest house to anyone coming to visit Weymouth!
