The Royal Hotel Weymouth

The room was nice and spacious with a beautiful sea view and the sunrise in the morning was gorgeous. We did request a room with a bath tub which unfortunately didn’t get. The bathroom wasn’t very clean. Hair on toilet seat and in sink. Also the fan was extremely loud. There was dust on the ceiling above the bed and stain on the carpet. Breakfast was nice with a sea view and the location of the hotel is great

Lovely welcome from hotel manager & other staff..Food excellent, Our Room overlooking the promenade, wonderful sea view..lots of 'people watching' All in all a very enjoyable 5 day break with Alfa. Hotel within walking distance to the shops..

From arrival to departure everything was great. Hotel in ideal position. Reception, dining area and bar very clean bright and pleasant. There are a few bumps and scraps but so what it's a very busy hotel .Staff amazing nothing too much trouble, meals good, dietary requirements catered for, Service at meal times was quick and efficient. Entertainment fantastic not just singers!!!, bingo every night, bar prices reasonable. Faultless will be returning for 3rd time next year. Shower , bathroom room in general faultless, Thank you all Staff your hotel is Fantastic value for money and all staff wonderful. Room 403 is right next to lift (which isn't noisy) . No WiFi issues either.

Stayed on an Alfa coach tour, for 4 nights. The hotel is ideally situated, right across from the flat promenade, the shops but a few minutes' walk away, a harbour area close by and everything well kept. The room we had was beautiful, Room 108, and I cannot fault it. It was worth paying a rather hefty supplement for. Public areas were spacious, airy and comfortable. The restaurant tables were well spaced, the menus were varied, the food was nicely cooked and, a real bonus in my opinion, hot when it was meant to be hot, so Brownie points for that. Service was very good considering how busy the restaurant was at times. I cannot comment on the entertainment as we preferred to sit in the bar area in the evenings and admire the sea view. Bar prices were reasonable with a decent choice. Cleanliness was excellent throughout the hotel. Every member of staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. Well done Denise and your team.

Just returned from a 4 night stay on half board. Was able to park my car outside the hotel with a blue badge. We were given a lovely room. Well worth the upgrade for the view. The bathroom had walk in shower which was good if you are elderly. Very pleasant staff. Our bedroom was very clean. Lovely towels and spotless bed linen. Entertainment is provided, but we didn't attend. After a day out sightseeing and driving around we were happy to retire to our room and watch the tv. Food varied and a reasonable choice. Excellent value for money.
