Fynbos Golf and Country Estate

We were booked in for a 2 night stay, but upon arrival changed it to a 1 night stay. The drive to the Fynbos was unpleasant as it was a very long gravel road. Once we arrived we were informed they had a function and that the kitchen planned to close early. We had to order food and were than told to warm the food in a microwave, which was located in the laundry area. The staff was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. If you can, avoid this golf estate.

Fynbos golf estate will definitely not see us again. Before we booked our 9 night stay we asked if there is a beach as kids wants to go fishing,and we would like to spend the day' s relaxing on the beach the answer was yes. Only to discover that you need to be a resident of Eersterivier to enter the electric gates (privately owned), golf estate manager gave us the pin( not allowed to actually as he mentioned to us) but once you enter there is no parking( as all property is privately owned) so on a daily basis we need to travel approximately 90km x2 just so the kids can have some fun on the beach) of this 10kmx2 are a terrible gravel road , they also fail to mention this. We complained about this on the day of arrival....after 4 days we had to call the office for clean towels. We shorted our stay with 2 days, and they refuse to assist with even a 50% refund. For price they are asking they can definitely include cleaning or for long stay include a day or 2 of cleaning. I called to ask if they have laundry service, and was told yes, but it is only for fynbos guest, when I mentioned we are guest, I was told only for hotel room guests not fynbos ridge...so this is definitely not for people looking for a relaxing holiday ..

Very pleasant spacious accommodation, kids loved it as well. Our stay was too short, we should have booked for longer, but we will be back - soon. And the club house will see more of us as well - best pizza ever ! We stayed in Albatros, AMAZING view so clean and everything you needed available.Bedding clean .Nice spacious rooms. We already booked for December !

While on a roadtrip from Capetown to PE we had an overnight stay at Fynbos Ridge on very short notice, which proofed to be worth every cent. Since this was way out of season, we were more or less alone in the whole complex and the quietness combined with a stunning oceanview was very relaxing. Strong recommendation. You will see us again.

I recently visited the Fynbos Golf Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. Situated next to the golf course, the restaurant offers stunning views of the fairways and ocean. I recommend the grilled salmon with lemon butter, perfectly cooked and with great flavor. Fynbos provides a tremendous experience for both golfers and non-golfers alike. The combination of great facilities, friendly staff, and a relaxing ambiance makes it a must-visit for anyone in the area. Whether you're there for a round of golf or just to enjoy the surroundings, you're sure to have a memorable time.

Went for an early dinner during school holidays it took 15 minutes to take orders no still or sparkling water available it took more than an hour to deliver the food maybe the chef was cooking for the barman as he was eating at the bar when delivered food was completely different what we ordered no apologies just eat no taste on the food whatsoever if we need to eat out in the area the food stall couple of kilometres away best place to eat stay away from the restaurant very disappointed
