We really enjoyed our morning walk to the giraffes and had a great gamedrive. The room was very good even though you can hear some nice from the N10. Nice staff.

Wat een geweldig verblijf. We sliepen in de tent. Basic maar prima. Voor de koude avonden hadden we heerlijke elektrische onderlakens. Wij vonden het verkeer wat onderaan de berg reed, niet hinderlijk. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf het balkonterras De gamedrive zullen we nooit vergeten.

Not what was expected, newly refurb room, problems with toilet, weak water pressure at bason, poor management response, just not value for money, don't pay until you have seen the place !!! Not a good image for South African Tourism

What a great place.... Great rooms (ask for a refurbished one!), great location, exemplary staff and service, and a more than average chance of animal spotting close up. More personal than the larger Game Reserves, and helpful in every way to please.

Meine Frau und ich waren Ende Januar für zwei Nächte zu Gast im Elephants Lodge Bellevue Forest Reserve. Die Anlage an sich ist wunderschön. Alles ist sehr gepflegt, das Essen sehr gut und die Menschen sehr freundlich. Auch war es möglich, direkt von der Lodge wunderschöne Ausflüge zu machen (Walking Safaris, Games Drives ins Schotia Game Reserve etc.). ALLERDINGS möchten wir hier alle potenziell Interessierten eindringlich darauf hinweisen, dass die Lodge sehr nah einer stark befahrenen Hauptstraße liegt. Wir bewohnten ein wunderschönes Zelt (Zelt 1 oder 2?), von dessen Terrasse wir leider den direkten Blick auf diese Straße "genießen" durften. Auch die vorbeifahren Fahrzeuge störten leider die Schönheit dieses ansonsten wundervollen Ortes sehr. Wir möchten unseren netten Gastgebern auf diesem Weg wirklich keine Steine in den Weg legen, halten es aber für wichtig, dass insbesondere Gäste, die Ruhe suchen und sich nach der "Stille nach Natur" sehen, hier vielleicht nicht unbedingt richtig sind.

Her favorite animals are giraffes, so what could be better than a Giraffe Walk? It was her 30th birthday, which I mentioned when booking, and they made it so special! Since it was such an important day for her, they arranged for just the two of us to be on the tour. On top of that, she received a little muffin with a candle, which was such a thoughtful touch! With our guide, Jona, we were lucky to find the giraffes very quickly. The entire experience was incredible! Thanks to Jona’s knowledge and passion for the animals, we felt completely relaxed and safe throughout. He was an amazing ranger—you could really tell how much he loves his job, and it made the experience even better. The giraffes were so close to us, and they are truly beautiful creatures. We loved every moment of it and couldn’t recommend this experience enough!

Scenic view over the area from our luxury tent! Awesome sundown! On the giraffe walk tour we got very close to the animals, that was a great experience. We booked a tour through Addo Elephant National Park which we can recommend as well. The Safari vehicles fit 9 persons which creates a private atmosphere. The guides are passionate, the staff is very friendly, everything is cosy and clean. In the tents it is colder and quite noisy in the nights as you are in nature, the bed can be heated.

5-sterren service in een kleinschalige lodge. Heel veel persoonlijke aandacht, zowel van de gidsen als van de overige medewerkers. Zelfs in onze prachtige tent was turndown service, en waren zelfs de elektrische dekens aangezet voor een warm welkom. Super plek!
