Mooie accommodatie, slechte wegen
Mooie cottage gunstig gelegen tov Addo Elephant Park.
Toegangsweg met ‘gewone’ auto uitdagend bijna 5 km over onverhard met gaten en keien.
Uitzicht adembenemend, lieve honden op het terrein maar daar moet je van houden natuurlijk!
Spullen wat verouderd maar alles aanwezig.

Safari retreat
We arrived rather late after a long drive from Cape Town, and were dismayed to find that the buzz boxes weren’t working. Thankfully we followed in a truck and they could hear the honk at the closer gate. The receptionist was very nice. The lodge that we stayed in was spacious but the floors were dirty and the bathtub needed to be run a while to get past the dirt in the pipes. Be aware that they don’t have dinner options, regardless of the first picture, and town is about 15 min away and restaurants close early. We ended up with road snacks for dinner. Breakfast was good and filling with a great view of the giraffes. Wish I would have sent a message to the hotel about our arrival and food options ahead of time.

The accommodation - the lodge itself is beautiful. However the food which by the way is R300 per person was ridiculous. There was no effort from the host; let's not even talk about the type of cooldrink served for supper and breakfast. As a 4-star holiday place, you should at least provide a variety of fizzy drinks and juice for guests. I think that was just classing people. The breakfast was the only highlight.

The place was fine, the rooms were fine and clean. The host was nit friendly at first but was much better on the second day. The food was terrible and definitely not worth the money charged, we were served mixer juice that tasted like drink o pop, definitely not what you expect at a 4star lodge. We complained about it to the host on the first night but she still served it at breakfast, we ended up buying our own juice at spar for breakfast. We were not impressed! Overall the place is fine but would not go back

Ein sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Gästehaus mit schön angelegtem Garten. Beim Blick ins Tal kann man einige Tiere beobachten. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hat für uns ein Abendessen zubereitet, da wir nicht viele Kilometer zum Restaurant fahren wollten. Der Weg zum Haus ist etwas beschwerlich.

Very nice accommodation on a farm near Addo Park. Nice rooms with veranda and outdoor shower. Wonderful well-kept garden with views over the surrounding hills. Pleasently quiet. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby for dinner. Breakfast all good. Very nice host who tried very hard to make our stay pleasant. Thank you, we would book there again at any time.

We had a lovely stay over the Kududu Guest house. The cottage we stayed in was amazing with everything that a person needs. The views from the cottage were spectacular. Staff friendly and willing to assist.
