Very good hotel, good environment, good service, a small beach, clean swimming pool. We booked a one-price package with three meals included, and the food was very good and it felt very worthwhile.

Notre séjour à Zanzi Resort a été tout simplement magique ! Entre le cadre idyllique, les végétations à couper le souffle et les installations haut de gamme, nous avons vécu une expérience digne d’un rêve. Mais ce qui a rendu ce séjour inoubliable, c’est avant tout le personnel incroyablement attentionné et chaleureux de cet hôtel. Un énorme merci à Alex, Francis, Geoffrey, Sajin, Abdallah et Jesca pour leur professionnalisme, leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité. Vous avez su anticiper nos moindres besoins avec le sourire, rendant chaque instant encore plus spécial. Une mention toute particulière pour John, le chef cuisinier, dont les plats étaient exquis ! Chaque repas était un véritable voyage des sens. Le Zanzi Resort, c’est bien plus qu’un hôtel de luxe : c’est une expérience humaine exceptionnelle grâce à une équipe qui fait tout pour que vos vacances soient parfaites. Stayed at Zanzi resort for 4 nights as part of honeymoon on Zanzibar. Had villa 6 which is one of the villas with private pool and beach access. Room was clean and had the expected amenities. The chefs are amazing and we were genuinely blown away with each meal. The chicken soup and red snapper were delicious. Honestly the food was spectacular. Watching the bush babies feed during the dinner service was also a nice treat. Would like to thank Abdul, Geofrey (our waiters) and the one female server who we can't remember the name of - they were all very friendly and attentive. Visited Cheetah's Rock as this is very close which was a very worthwhile experience. There is not much else to do in the immediate vicinity so would recommend spending a few nights here and going to the other side of the island. Only minor issues we had were occasional power cuts with loss of wifi (the website does mention this) and loss of water due to a pump issue on the final day but this was rectified quickly.

Die Anlage ist insgesamt sehr schön und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen war einfach exzellent! Der Strand ist sehr klein und hat viele Steine und Algen. Die Gezeiten sind hier sehr ausgeprägt und das Meer unruhig. Wir sind nicht im Meer geschwommen. Der Gemeinschaftspool ist sehr schön, leider hatte es aber nur vier Liegestühle für alle Gäste (14 Villen). Die Massagen sind von sehr guter Qualität und man hört dabei das Meer. Wir hatten zuerst eine Superior Gartenvilla mit Pool (Nr. 8) und diese war wunderschön. Neu, geräumig, geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet (Kleiderzimmer, viel Platz für Necessaire im Bad, schöne Badewanne mit Aussicht in den Garten, schöne Aussicht von allen Zimmern in den Garten, sehr schöne Möbel…) Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Als wir dann in die teurere Ocean Acess Villa (Nr. 6) wechselten, waren wir enttäuscht. Der Pool war zwar grösser und man hatte eine kleine, aber schöne Aussicht aufs Meer mit Treppenzugang. Die Villa bzw. der Innenbereich war jedoch alt und nur halb so schön eingerichtet wie die Gartenvilla. Die Möbel waren alt und nicht wirklich schön, das Bett war alt und tönte bei jeder Bewegung. Das Wasser aus der Dusche roch metallisch.Für die Kleider hatte es nicht viel Platz im alten Schrank. Die Gartenvilla können wir sehr empfehlen, die Ocean Villa jedoch nicht. Die Villen Nr. 1-7 sind alt, die Villen Nr. 8-14 sind neu.

Drei Nächte lang durften wir in einem wahren Traum verweilen – umgeben vom satten Grün des Dschungels, mit Vogelgezwitscher und Affen in den Bäumen, weit weg vom Alltag und ganz nah am Glück. Die Villen sind traumhaft schön, stilvoll eingerichtet und bieten absolute Privatsphäre – ein Rückzugsort, der Körper und Seele zur Ruhe kommen lässt. Jeden Abend ein Sundowner am 100 Meter langen Jetty, während die Sonne im Indischen Ozean versinkt – magischer kann ein Moment kaum sein. Kulinarisch ist das Zanzi Resort ein echtes Highlight: Das Frühstück ist ein Genuss, das Abendessen exzellent – und die Seafood Platter ein absolutes Muss für Feinschmecker. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis war der Tagesausflug mit dem Dhow-Boot zur Sandbank und nach Prison Island: türkisblaues Wasser, Schnorcheln zwischen bunten Fischen, barfuß im Sand – einfach paradiesisch. Und das Beste? Die herzlichen Menschen, die einem das Gefühl geben, willkommen und angekommen zu sein. Freundlich, aufmerksam, authentisch. Das Zanzi Resort ist kein Hotel – es ist ein Gefühl.
