We stayed here for a night as it is close to the airport. It’s definitely old, but the rooms where nice and spacious for a last night repack, shower and sleep. Comfy big and high bed off the floor. There’s a pool and a restaurant, but we just watched the sunset at the bar on the “beach”.

I only stayed at this hotel for a few hours while waiting for an evening flight and it was perfect for the purpose, although showing a few signs of age. The rooms are large and the air conditioning was effective and the pool is huge. The staff were exemplary in bringing towels and arranging sunbeds and umbrellas. It is only a very short drive to the airport, so I would recommend it to anyone in the same situation. It enabled me to have a swim, a siesta and a very long shower before facing the ordeal of an overnight flight. Not the cheapest solution to the problem of being hotel-less for a day, but I very good one.

I went for a corporate lunch with my company and was well impressed with the excellent service by the staff. They were professional, proactive, and personable. Our team enjoyed themselves as the overall food was fantastic with a great view!

I was disappointed with my stay. I requested a late check-out for 2 PM, but the hotel charged me $40 for this, which felt unreasonable. The location is also far from the city center (about a 30-minute taxi ride, which is expensive) and the surrounding area feels unsafe and poorly lit.
The breakfast was very disappointing – unhealthy options with limited choices. The balcony door in my room was weak and seemed easy to break open, which made me feel insecure. Additionally, the staff provided incorrect information during my stay, which caused confusion.
Overall, the experience was not worth the cost, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Hotel horrible,lo único la ubicación es muy cerca del aeropuerto. Habitaciones sucias y descuidadas, la ducha casi no sale agua, la nevera sucia y no funcionaba, no hay un cártel donde poner "no molesten" las chicas de la limpieza entran sin picar. La comida tardan en servir hora y media. Si pides buffet verás que la calidad es muy mala. Los camareros/as la mayoría muy antipáticos, solo eran simpáticos los de seguridad. La piscina sucia por las tardes entra todo el mundo y se bañan con ropa la misma que visten, la música está altísima y no hay hamacas para los clientes, nos pusieron sillas de terciopelo y sucias con la calor que hace. No es un sitio para descansar para nada. Pasar fin de año allí fué aburridísimo igual que sus trabajadores que nos quitaban y nos invitaban a irnos a las 12.03pm, vaya desastre, quitaron la música 12.30. Por favor solo les pido una cosa que quiten las fotos porque no tienen nada con la realidad, no tiene piscina cuidada y la playa es muy muy sucia. También les pediría que por favor tengan piedad de los gatos y pongan comida y bebida que no cuesta nada.

A few minutes drive from Stone town. A great place to go when you can't swim in the sea because of the tide. A big swimming pool with only a few selins if you are not resident of the hotel and they gibe you a towel to use while there. The staff there was really polite and always with a smile!
