Outstanding service and environment here. Far from city area but having lots of activities in hotel. Unfortunately when we visited it was raining bus we can still waiting enjoying the hotel. Rooms a bit old. Will definitely visit again. Oh and would will perfect for family visits too! Also birthday cake was so delicious and very kind to having the little write:)

Not as good as my expectations of 5 stars of shangri la hotel, but still in great value and services consider the price is much cheaper.
I came with my family including 2 kids at 6 and 8, they love the game area and swimming pools with water slides.
Because of 2 nights stay in the wet seasons in September. especially after 5pm, a tropical rainfall so that I didn't get any chance to see sunset in the beaches.
The beaches are not really good condition of sand quality.
I enjoyed the morning hiking trip to the nearby hills and also the walk in the beach. Many wildlife and calm of the days.

Everything was perfect. The pools, the rooms and the food was so good. Lots of activities for kids. Also very very relaxing: drinks served to the pool. I’d go back there again 😀.

Sorry RRR, maybe I was having a high expectation. I waited for 45 min to check-in (From 3pm-3:45pm) but the service staff was great and helpful with our bags to the room. Surprisingly for a 5 star hotel resort, the room is a bit old and the walls are mouldy. Sofa with stain and dirty carpet. Funny enough that the king sized bed are two twin-bed combined, with a small gap in between. so we have to sleep only on one side of the bed, else the gap will make us backache. Be careful with the bathtub are a bit slippery when shower, as there isn't any separate shower room; so you just shower in the tub. The breakfast buffet are full of flies the next day morning.. Anyway, we still enjoy the beach as it was beautiful during the sunset.

We had a good family bonding time at Shangri La Rasa Ria. There were lots of activities catering to various types of travelers. The beach was long with fine sand, and the sunset view was excellent. There were also game rooms when the sun gets too hot or when it rains.

All good like before.. only our special request not recieved by the resort. So have to wait longer for baby cot, sofa bed be ready..
