Pros: Quiet and private environment, beautiful scenery, good quality breakfast and room service, good service.
Cons: Arrived around 3pm, and waited for a full hour to check in, almost collapsed. The room has no air conditioning and simple facilities. Open bathroom, don't take a shower at night, it will be cold.

This hotel is amazing! We loved it, the only thing to note is that it’s quite a journey from Ella (around 45 mins). I would suggest staying at Ella for 1 night or so and experiencing that, then visiting and unwinding here. The staff, food and room were all fantastic.

We had the most wonderful family stay at Jetwing Kaduruketha and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality from the Jetwing Team. The serene surroundings, lush greenery, and scenic paddy fields created a peaceful atmosphere that immediately made us feel relaxed and at home. The eco-luxury dwellings were both spacious and beautifully designed, blending comfort with nature. Dilani and all the staff including Nadhun the General Manager, Saduni, Maheshika, Faizal and Maduwanthi were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready with a smile and eager to help in any way. Special mention to Subath and the culinary team – every meal was a delight, with fresh local ingredients and both traditional Sri Lankan and western meal options. What made our stay even more special was getting to take part in the traditional Sinhala New Year games organized by the hotel. It was a wonderful cultural experience that the whole family enjoyed – from tug-of-war to musical chairs and other fun local traditions and treats. It was heartwarming to see guests and staff celebrating together. We also enjoyed the guided nature walk in the morning viewing many birds with the naturalist. Jetwing Kaduruketha is more than a hotel – it’s an experience of Sri Lanka’s natural beauty and warm culture, made even better by a team that truly cares. Our family left with lifelong memories - feeling recharged, connected, and already planning our return.

We only stayed a night at Jetwing Kaduruketha, but I truly wish we had more time there. The place is so calm and peaceful, surrounded by nature with lovely village vibes. The food was great, and the service was amazing. Special thanks to Pasindu, our room boy — so humble and helpful. The view was beautiful with so many birds around, especially peacocks. Waking up to a peacock in our backyard was such a special moment. Would love to visit again for a longer stay!

We had a great stay . Our favorite place to stay inside woods away from our busy life. Delicious food most are home made . Friendly and helpful staff make the place alive. Rooms are clean and well arrange . Spaces . Love the evening walk through the paddy field to kirindi oya ..morning walk to capture colorful birds was amazing.

Jetwing Kaduruketha – what a hidden gem in Wellawaya! I have never received such personalized hospitality as I did there. The food was delicious! The bakery items were so fresh and incredibly good! One of the main highlights was the friendly staff. Our butler, Ayesha, and the restaurant manager, Sanduni, were so welcoming and helpful, always catering to our needs. They even have a lovely little ritual for sending guests off — such a nice touch! I loved the peaceful atmosphere and would definitely go there again.

It located in a lushly wooded forest with rice patty and organic farms. Peaceful location with beautiful surroundings and big pool for kid Friendly and helpful staff Delicious and authentic Sri Lankan cuisine Very sustainable We enjoyed the ala carte breakfast and dinner
