Pros: Quiet and private environment, beautiful scenery, good quality breakfast and room service, good service.
Cons: Arrived around 3pm, and waited for a full hour to check in, almost collapsed. The room has no air conditioning and simple facilities. Open bathroom, don't take a shower at night, it will be cold.

This hotel is amazing! We loved it, the only thing to note is that it’s quite a journey from Ella (around 45 mins). I would suggest staying at Ella for 1 night or so and experiencing that, then visiting and unwinding here. The staff, food and room were all fantastic.

This was our first time at the hotel and we had a very relaxing stay for one night with family. The place and food was excellent and Tharushi (our assigned butler) was very helpful and always ready to go out of her way to serve us. The food was delicious and they were always prepared to give us more since it was an al-carte menu. Overall we had a lovely time in the hotel and the views and atmosphere was perfect for a family getaway since we came to Sri Lanka after 2 years.

A hotel that offers something completely different. Set in the forest along side its own farmland this hotel offers peace, tranquility and nature. Rooms are purpose built chalets in the forest and offer views through woodland onto the paddy fields. The young staff are very helpful and always smiling while working under the watchful eye of Faizal, the hospitality manager. Faizal had kindly guided us through the dinner menu and suggested dishes to us which we're so glad he did as the food was divine and plenty of it. We ordered Sri Lanka curries along with a plethora of side dishes and breads. Fabulous .

A small, cozy hotel developing the concept of personalized, quality service, attention with thoughtful details. Exceptionally beautiful nature. A great place to explore and get to know local animals, farm life, and the culture of the country.

This hotel is not good value for money. If you are visiting expecting 5star accommodation it is 3 at best for a 5 star price tag. The food and the service were amazing but the quality of the facilities in the room are very poor. The room has no walls, its wooden slats and netting, and all the netting has holes in it so the bugs are free to enter. A mosquito net was provided for the bed but then there’s no where to sit and the mosquito net was dirty, the blinds need a good wash and the bathroom was very grotty with a lot of mould in the floor. It is glamping with a hotel pool. It is an eco hotel and if it’s what you are expecting that’s fine but we paid £245 for this hotel and were extremely disappointed as it was sold as 5 star and we were on our honeymoon.

Das Hotel ist nicht so groß aber dafür sehr fein. Ausgesprochen freundlicher und individueller Service. Exzellente Küche auf Sterneniveau. Kein Buffet. Frühstück a la Carte mit Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. Nur lokale Produkte verwendet. Sehr gute Spa-Behandlungen. Bungalows sehr sauber. Zimmerservice sehr gut. Zimmerausstattung überdurchschnittlich. Auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.
