I am writing to bring to your attention the current status of my stay at Abad Brookside Wayanad. Having stayed at numerous hotels and homestays around the world, I have never encountered an experience quite like this. I checked in on September 30, 2024, at your property in Wayanad to celebrate my wedding anniversary, arriving with high expectations. The check-in process was pleasant, and the staff at the counter welcomed us warmly. We proceeded to the restaurant for lunch, which we enjoyed, thanks to the attentive and smiling staff. However, upon collecting the key for our room, number 601 (pool villa), and entering, I was deeply disappointed. The room was in a deplorable state, with dirty walls and broken window locks in the hall, bedroom, and toilet. The floor was constantly wet, causing my daughter to slip and injure her head. Despite someone coming to repair the windows at 10 PM, the makeshift solution of placing bedsheets and cotton on the floor made us feel like we were staying in a bus station, not a 4-star property. This experience ruined our celebration and caused significant distress, especially since we travelled all the way from Dubai for this occasion. I would like to commend Mr. Shibu from the restaurant and Mr. Joshi, the resort manager, for their efforts to alleviate our discomfort. However, the overall experience was unacceptable. Given the circumstances i send email to Mr.Mansoor a Senior person in abad group he ignore and not replied to my email. Hospitality is zero and my request every one,pls do waste your money on abad Brook.you can get much better option in wayanad with good hospitality.
