Booked for our maid of honour and her partner, they both enjoyed their stay and had no complaint. Definitely enjoyed the breakfast!

Stayed 1 night in family room on same side as single room stayed for 4 nights but on 2nd(1st?) floor. Good with big size and bearable noise comparing to ground floor. Town center would be better, but still good location to enjoy Warwick as city is small to walk everywhere. Staffs are all kind.

Some people have complained about the state of their rooms. All I can say is that ours was spotless and had been refreshed/ refurbished fairly recently. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at a reasonable price. Very central location, limited on-site parking - but free parking available across the road.

Budget double room - £167 for fri/sat - Room 16 in the Annex. Slightly odd setup, more AirBnB than hotel. Ring doorbell at all times for access to the main building / reception and the person on reception didn't quite grasp I was there for two nights, though I wasn't disturbed and it was a non issue. The room was fair, heating had been turned off on the radiator valve and it appeared a bit musty because of this. Bathroom had loose clunky floor tiles and a tilting shelf over the sink. A little maintenance would go a long way here. Bed was reasonable. Shower height adjuster broken, but plenty of pressure at 2pm when I was getting ready for a wedding. Net curtain ripped which would be easy to fix, but has been mentioned before! Take earplugs as next to a busy road, take an eye mask as curtains more for aesthetic. Get lucky with parking as there isn't much. Handy shops and take aways across the road and the location is great!

For the price this is a very good hotel, if you want something more luxurious you will need to pay more! So on the plus side the guy on reception was friendly and efficient. We had been allocated a ground floor room as per my email request sent prior to arrival so that was very helpful as I can't do stairs. There is level access into the hotel and a few rooms just a couple of steps from the entrance. Our room was very clean, though the carpet could do with a bit of a deep clean to really spruce up the overall effect. There was a nice, big, clean kettle, tea, coffee, milk cartons etc. The bathroom was small but spotless, the shower was powerful and hot. The hotel is in a good location and we were easily able to walk/scoot to our evening meal destination of The Tilted Wig. Tips for staying here: don't forget to bring a hairdryer if you need one and I would check whether there is space in the car park before driving into it as it's a bugger to get out of, it's probably best to reverse into it... We parked over the road as the parking restriction there didn't apply by the time we arrived.

Very poor condition for 3 stars , I was surprised and disappointed to find the accommodation was not as I would expect for a 3 star hotel . On check in I rang the bell at the door and waited , and waited , no one came to the door , eventually a staff member came from the annexe across the courtyard and let me into reception with her key , only to find a gentleman sat at the reception desk , why he couldn't answer the bell and let me in I don't know , kept me waiting several minutes , unnecessarily. The room was on ground floor , in the annexe type building across from reception , with the window facing out onto the pavement and roadway of a busy street , the net curtains being ripped offered no privacy, so that I had to keep the curtains drawn at all times to maintain privacy . The carpet in the bedroom could only be described as " grubby" , the bathroom smelled musty / mouldy , with black discoloured grouting in the shower , which looked like it needed a really good clean . The shower head holder , height adjuster , was broken, so that it languished at the bottom of the rail and was not able to be held at a suitable height , forcing me to have to crouch down , or hold the shower head with my hand in order to get my head and shoulders under it . The hand soap dispenser by the basin was either empty or broken, so that every time I used the bathroom I had to reach into the shower for shower gel to wash my hands with . On checkout I was unable to raise my complaints as no one attended reception, despite my ringing the bell , so I had to leave my room key in the early checkout box and walk away without the opportunity to speak with the staff . Cleaning staff nearby , chatting away in a foreign language , completely ignored me standing at reception. Very disappointed with the accommodation and the staff , would NOT recommend staying here at all .

Welcoming chap on arrival. That was the first and last we saw of any staff. Although this is 3 star it's a shame to see such a wonderful building turn into what is really a shabby B&B...definitely NOT a hotel. Appears clean on arrival, but carpets dirty, cheap squeaky bed, wardrobe is a wierd afterthought (room 7). Hideous brown pleather tub seating. Water bottles filled with tepid tap water. No hot water for shower, with no water pressure. Underneath toilet seat was stained yellow. Dirty windows. I could go on. We stayed as we went to the local Festival so great location but would not stay here as a base to visit local landmarks, its beautiful listed frontage is deceiving. The restaurant looks more like the communal area of a HMO. Needs n overhaul. I've paid less for much nicer places.

Great location for town center and local attractions. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Tastefully decorated good size rooms. Parking a little tight but not an issue. Plenty of good pubs, restaurants and interesting places nearby.
