A truly unique, exceptional experience! We stayed in the Peacock Suite for our anniversary and were absolutely blown away. It was the most magical weekend and worth every penny. We will be back! A BIG shout out and enormous thank you to Ellie, Jordan & Honey - we were so well looked after, honestly we can’t thank you enough. The best stay-cation we’ve ever had, 100 out of 10. Warwick castle is the BEST.

Unfortunately despite reading fantastic reviews before we went, our experience was completely different and a disaster from start to finish. At over £600 for the night plus £170 for the medieval banquette, our expectations were high. The day before we telephoned to check temperature of the room as we were in the middle of a heatwave. We were told the room was lovely and cool being in a castle but just in case they will put a fan in there for us. We phoned our concierge on arrival who met us in the car park. The room wasn't ready so we left our bags in the car whilst the concierge explained the basics. We had already planned our 2 days events as we didn't want to miss anything being they are on at specific times only. The concierge told us the times are different to that on the website so we took a photo of her lanyard with the news times and adjusted what we were doing and when accordingly. We asked again about the temperature of the room to be told it was extremely hot in there, we mentioned the fan we had requested the day before and she said she knew nothing about it but would get one put in there. Our concierge left us to it at approx 11.30 and said she would phone us by 2pm to let us know the room was ready. We started exploring. By lunchtime we were ready for some food. None of the food vendors were open, there were various choices such as pizza, chicken wings, etc, but all were closed so we went to the undercroft cafe. It was June so we were surprised there was nothing open. We arrived at 1.15pm and all sandwiches had been sold and the only other option was a Yorkshire pudding wrap with roast potatoes. It was 33 degrees outside and we didn't want anything hot. Further touring of the castle grounds we discovered a fish and chip van hidden away but we were not even aware it was there. Concierge told us nothing of food and didn't give us a map or anything. We were given a gold card which gave us 20% of everything in shops, etc, but everytime we used it the staff almost visibly tutted and were put out by us using it. We made our way to the jousting to discover we had missed a part of the beginning as the times our concierge gave us were wrong, it turns out the website times were correct. We watched the falconry display, which was amazing, and at the end the announcement came over the tannoy that the castle was now closing, this was 4pm. We had heard nothing from the concierge so we phoned them and asked about our room, got a reply of yes it's been ready for hours but no one had told us. We were told to meet them at the bottom of our tower so we returned to the car and had to cart our own luggage from the car to the tower which was quite a trek. When we finally got in the room it was like an oven and no fan, so we again had to request this. Also in the room we discovered information about locations and food vendors which we knew nothing about as we hadn't been able to access the room. After having a shower and experiencing the entire bathroom f

Huge thank you to Ellie, Honey and Natalie after our stay last weekend. You were all so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and we definitely felt like VIPs! 😀 And also enormous thanks to Seb who gave us a great personal history tour. The ability to literally walk (and sleep) in the shoes of real figures from history was brilliant. The falconry experience was spectacular - we watched it twice and could happily watch again, and the jousting was also excellent. Breakfast in the staterooms was something very special as was the ability to wander around out of hours, especially having the battlements to ourselves. It is definitely a very special experience to be able to stay in the tower suites, we very much hope to be back!

My husband and I had a fantastic weekend at Warwick Castle, but by far the highlight was being able to stay in the castle itself and having the place to ourselves after 4pm. Much has already been said in reviews about the wonderful Rose Suite, and its all true! You get a very real sense of being in a castle turret in the room, but with modern conveniences that have been thoughtfully included so they don't detract from the historical splendour of the suite. We had Afternoon tea on arrival in the large conservatory, which was glorious on a sunny Winters day. Breakfast was surreal - we had a lovely full english in the State Room (which we had all to ourselves) surrounded by huge portraits of King Charles II and baroque furniture. A particular mention for Ellie, our concierge for the weekend, who was on hand to help throughout but largely left us to explore and enjoy ourselves. And I must also compliment Chloe, who gave us a very knowledgeable and fascinating personal tour of the Castle, Great Hall & State Rooms. Admittedly this is one of the more expensive nights away, but if you factor in all the complementary elements it is extremely good value for money. I'd do it again in a heartbeat... although next time I'd stay in the Summer months when there is more going on in the grounds (jousting demos, archery, etc).

We stayed at the Tower suites, specifically the Rose Tower Suite very recently with our 2 nearly 3 month old! We had an amazing time, the communication and service was 5 star! Constant email communication prior, calming all my anxieties about taking my first born! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated like royalty, they allowed us to store our pram in the office, so we didn't have to keep going back and forth to the car at all in our stay, and we were able to just text as and when we needed it, as there are alot of places at the castle you cannot take them. Be warned, theres a lot of steps to get up to the Rose suite, around 60 in total, and carrying a baby up these can be tricky! But we managed! The room was stunning, with it's own private Rampart which was lovely to go out onto at night when the castle was empty and looking out at the stunning views, especially sunset and sunrise! The castle itself has lots to do to keep you busy for the day! Sadly the mill was closed due to flooding but that can't be helped! Included in our stay was the dungeons (we didn't do these) and the christmas light trail, which we did do! The lights were amazing! and we had a brilliant time! They send you a lot of options for dinner, including the ability to order takeout to the castle, which concierge would go collect if needed. We decided to eat over in knights village and watch their new addition to christmas this year, the pantomime! It's a little dinner pantomime, and was brilliant! They did a great job keeping the kids, and adults ;) entertained! Concierge take you down to dinner and bring you back, and were very friendly and chatty! Breakfast the next morning is in one of the staterooms, private! This was delicious and such a nice setting! Then you get to go round the castle whilst still closed to the public which again, was lovely to enjoy it in those hours! We'd like to personally mention Erin and Emily the two concierge working on our first day there! They definitley went above and beyond, and were lovely! Even getting smiles from our son! thank you once again for an amazing stay, and we're gutted we had no cash with us for tips! As its 100% deserved!!! Highly recommend!

We loved our stay in the Peacock Suite. The room was superb and the concierge service from Ellie and Emily was amazing. Lots of great stories, and information about the castle, and they were on hand to make our stay perfect. Our private tour with Andrew was brilliant. He was great fun, extremely knowledgeable, and very entertaining. All the staff we bumped into, when we walked around the grounds, were so friendly. The whole experience was great fun and the castle felt like home for a day!

We’ve just had a night on the tower suite package for our anniversary. We stayed in the Rose Suite and after you’ve navigated the 55 stair spiral staircase, you are in a fabulous room, with not only a super comfy bed and lovely bathroom but a door out of the back of the shower room leads you to the ramparts, which are completely all yours once the castle has shut at 4pm, which was such fun. A massive shout out to Ellie and Jordan, the concierge looked after us fabulously, champagne, breakfast in a state room, afternoon tea in the conservatory and a personal history tour (thank you to Andrew who was fab). Along with all the other exhibitons and things to discover. The Falconer’s Quest is not to be missed. We also walked into Warwick for a lovely Thai meal, finishing off what was a lovely two days!

We went on a romantic getaway for my birthday this year and were thoroughly impressed. The peacock suite was immaculate and went above our expectations. The staff were the real highlight of our stay - Ellie and Jordan could not have done more for us and made us feel so welcome, we loved talking to them and wish them all the best.

This was the favorite stop of our 2 week whirlwind run about England. We stayed for 2 nights in the Knight's Lodges. We had a group of 7. 2adults, 2 seniors, and 2 kids. We ended up putting the seniors in the hotel (2 minute walk from the village). When we arrived, Natalie was so incredibly helpful. She showed us the lodge and the hotel, so we could choose where to shuffle our group. Our stay was fantastic. Warwick is always great. The knights and princesses were brilliant with our kids, and the jousting was the bet I have ever witnessed. Our lodge, 101, faced the river and the evening entertainment. Highly recommend. 10/10!
