Location is great but is expensive. They have tried to automate things but means a hit on service. Did not tell us about registering the car numberplate in a computer as part of check in. We then got stuck at a barrier just popping out to see the area. Then had to pay the barrier as no humans. Then had to make a claim. Then still waiting for the claim. Computers reduce headcount but reduce service. The hotel itself is fine but was not value for money.

I stayed for one night with my daughter. It was a bit difficult to find the hotel from the bus stop, as there were no clear signs. However, the hotel room and breakfast were nice.

I'd give this a million stars if I could! We stayed in the glamping tents, and we didn't want to leave! We are budget travelers, so this was a bit of a splurge for us. But not a *huge* splurge, with all the extras - an incredible breakfast included, evening entertainment (including free archery, which is an extra cost at the castle during the day), heavily discounted second-day castle visit, and castle parking included. We did bring a picnic dinner to reduce the cost for our family, which was terrific. There were so many beautiful bathrooms! Each bathroom door opens to a single toilet, sink, and shower pod. All are extremely clean, modern, and very well-appointed. There are enough that we never had to wait. Walks to the entertainment area, restaurants, and hotel lobby are on wooden walkways - well lit and completely charming. The outdoor accommodation feels like an extension of the beautiful hotel lobby. It was very much a family environment at the evening entertainment and in the restaurant at breakfast, perfect for kids of all ages. My children are ages 9-15, and all three were so happy to be there. We stayed in one of the King's Tents. We are glad we did! The best thing about the King's Tents is the location - they're along the river, a bit more spread out than the other tents, and they each have a porch. There's a chess board and chess set, and my two oldest kids played chess just a short distance from where my youngest was watching geese on the River Avon. The beds in our tent were endlessly comfortable. Our group includes two adults and three children - they had an inflatable kid's mattress on the floor of the tent when we arrived, which was so kind. Sleeping in great beds in the cool night, with the river so nearby, was just the best. We didn't have any issues at all with bugs. We are an American family, and we are avid tent campers. One reason we "glamped" at Warwick was so we could have a little taste of camping while traveling in England, without needing to bring gear. This really was more like an open-air hotel than anything else - it was completely different from even the nicest campground or any "glamping" destination we've encountered in the US. If we lived in England, I think we'd want to do this more than once for sure. The week before we left, I got an email with an offer to extend our stay by one night for a small amount - now that we've seen how lovely this is, I'd seriously consider such an offer, even if it meant changing our itinerary. We loved every minute we spent in this beautiful place. We hope to return! If you are lucky enough to live closer than us, we think you are fortunate! :)

If you have any doubts about staying please read this review. I don’t normally bother writing reviews good or bad, but we just got back today from our stay at the woodland lodges and it was amazing. The evening entertainment was fantastic for our little one (3) and the entertainers were brilliant, getting everyone involved even when it was tipping it down, they have a canopied area, they even involve the parents involved which was great. My only grumble with the evening entertainment would be that our little one had too much fun and didn’t want to go to bed, so well done to the entertainment team. The food was great, I have read reviews about prices etc but at the carvery if you have two plates I consider it good value. Breakfast was great and all the staff were really friendly. Now on to the castle itself, well, the Zog live shows were brilliant and seeing our little one so engaged was worth the numerous visits. The war of the roses show was amazing and really engages the crowd, so much so our little one became upset at the death of Richard iii, even though he was clearly the baddy, so well done to the knights of middle England. Overall the stay was worth the price and we had so much fun that we are booking again. The castle is beautiful, the staff friendly, the entertainment top notch, Warwick Castle is a must for families and history buffs alike. Thank you Warwick Castle for a lovely few days.

We stayed in a knights lodge and had a brilliant time- spotlessly clean and that rare experience, enough milk to actually make a cup of tea! Very comfortable walk in shower and the children enjoyed the bunk beds. The evening entertainment was excellent, our boys were entranced and will be talking about sword school for years to come! Breakfast was simple but adequate.

We had an amazing weekend at Warwick Castle and our first stay at the new Warwick Castle Hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated and well-equipped for families (travel cot, bunk beds, USB ports). Definitely a family friendly experience!! The staff were incredibly nice and helpful throughout. Our son loved the interactive knight, themed playground, and kids’ entertainment in the evening. As someone with 20 years in hospitality, I was genuinely impressed. We’ll definitely be back!
