The bunk bed was rock hard, and the thin “mattress” was filthy. The showers were falling apart, but there are also newer showers in the bathroom stalls which were usable. Wifi was incredibly slow, I could not load a single web page on my laptop.
This is an absolutely gorgeous area, and there are a ton of cute cats and a cute golden retriever, which were a huge plus. The communal meals were also delicious and cheap.
If you can put up with the hard beds and lack of cleanliness, and don’t need WiFi, this would be a great place for you. But I needed WiFi so I left this place after 2 nights.

A great place to stay if you want to meet people and enjoy the local culture. Everyone was very nice and the food was incredible. It’s far from Wanning city but it’s close to Riyue Bay which is full of nightlife and restaurants. I recommend using an e-bike if you want to truly explore the area.

I think the hostel is very comfortable. The people here are friendly. You can rent an ebike in the village and drive everywhere easily, the family who rent it are very nice. You can rent a surfboard and go surfing. It is very close to Riyue Bay ~ just 10minutes walking or drive an ebike and it is close to the village. The view from the bedroom is very nice 😊.

A random youth hostel in Wanning! The atmosphere is very good, there are many friends who can sing for free with microphones at night, I met a lot of friends here, and they will organize werewolf killing at night, so there are 20 or 30 stray cats in his house, you can pet the cats at will, and there is also a big dog named Maomao. The dormitory environment is also warm, and you can also sign up for paddle board surfing here

The location is very remote and it is inconvenient to go anywhere without an electric car. I slept for a night and found that the door lock was broken and could be opened directly from the outside. I was shocked. There was no lock from the inside of the door. The air conditioner was leaking and no one came to fix it. The floor was full of water. In the second half of the night, I could hear footsteps and noisy voices outside the room. The curtains did not block the light. There was no paper in the bathroom. The shower did not work well and was very dirty. There were even dead ants and spider webs on the bed. It was very dusty. It was obvious that no one had cleaned it for a long time. It felt like living in a tropical rainforest. It was unsafe, unhygienic, inconvenient transportation, and very noisy. It was called a youth hostel, but the price was not much cheaper. I do not recommend it at all, especially if you come alone. The experience was extremely bad.
