The view facing the house is very beautiful. It faces the lake directly. You can cross the road to the lakeside and overlook the lonely trees in the distance. The room is very quiet, comfortable and bright. The six of us sat on the spacious terrace and drank tea and chatted in the living room. Unfortunately, it was only Stayed for one night; there is a Chinese restaurant run by Cantonese people downstairs. It was so delicious. We ordered green bone fish, Phnom Penh abalone, mutton and drank wine. It cost 1,080 yuan for 7 people; if you stay a few more days, you can have it yourself The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking; I will definitely stay here again in the future. Located about 5k outside Wanaka, Limetree Lodge is a quiet little B&B. Our room was excellent. We had a large bedroom with a decent bathroom with garden patio and access to a small pool and Jacuzzi onsite. Sachi is new to the property and works hard to ensure her guests are well attended to. Sachi provided a decent cooked breakfast on both mornings of our stay. Lime tree lodge has lots of potential to make this a 5* venue. As it stands, it is a decent B&B at a 3/4*~level. To make this a 5* Lodge, a number of things need to be addressed. 1. On arrival, at check-in, guests should be provided with a quick overview of the facilities they have access to - the use of the kitchen, lounge, pool and Jacuzzi, check out time etc. 2. Reception needs to be manned at specific times so guests are not waiting. Suggest this could be during specific times which are communicated to guests in advance so that staff can attend to other work. The general entryway could do with a spruce-up. Remove dead plants in pots and replace with living specimens. Planting in the area to freshen and indicate that the place is cared for same as the likely gardens. 3. Our room was not cleaned during our stay but towels were replaced (even though we hung them up to indicate we were happy to reuse). I would have been ok with this had I know that was the policy but this was not communicated. 4. I was concerned that we were so far from the town when we arrived. This was actually not an issue as Sachi called us a cab (she kindly offered to drive us) and it was only $25. The restaurant called us a taxi to get home and the price was similar.

Quite a big resort on the shore of Lake Wanaka, a pleasant walk away from the town. We stayed in a 1 bedroom, ground floor apartment which was a good size, well furnished, and well equipped, with a smashing view across the lawn to the lake and mountains beyond. The furnishing is a little dated but other than that, it was all comfortable. We weren't booked in for breakfast - it was good to walk into town first thing - but did book dinner one evening, and that was more than acceptable.

We stayed here for just one night having left the dreadful accommodation in Haast that we were booked into. It was a lucky find as we had a large suite complete with lounge, dining area, kitchenette and washing machine & tumble drier neatly tucked into the bathroom. Although quite a big resort our rooms were quiet. There are plenty of facilities on site, but we didn't use any of them so cannot comment.

Te Wanaka Lodge is a centrally located hotel within 300m of the town center on foot. Rooms are just spacious enough to stay with luggage but a bit tight. There is a shared kitchen, fireplace and relax area within the complex where you are given a cooked breakfast. Breakfast a little on the light side but good enough. This shared space is quite spacious and hospitable. Great value for money.

Really nice hostel with excellent, clean and spacious kitchen. Heaps of fridge space. Staff were lovely and helpful and I had a good time chatting at check in - they just set a friendly and open atmosphere. My room was great - had the private double with bathroom which was clean and comfortable with a great view of the lake - needs some sort of net curtain though as it felt very exposed with the curtains open as there is a main walkway right outside the window as well as the carpark Parking was easy and secure on site and it’s right by the lake and a quick walk into town - like 1-2 minutes. You’re right by the food trucks and supermarket so you can get a cheap good feed if you’re not in the mood to cook. Wifi needs serious improvement. Couldn’t get a connection in my room without standing in a particular spot and even then it was weak. Decided to try the lounge area but the connection was terrible there too so it’s definitely a hostel-wide issue. If you needed to work here then it would be pretty hard to do so.

Thank you to the owner for welcoming us warmly. The space is okay, but the CP value is high at this price. Moreover, the necessary supplies and facilities are complete, and there is also a small park where children can play. I think it is great👍 The road outside was under construction and it was almost impossible to find the way home, which was a bit difficult for outsiders. 

Awesome hotel! The front desk was very warm and friendly! The room is large and spacious, the kitchen is complete, the living room is comfortable, and the door is full of flowers. The hotel is on a hillside and has a good view. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to walk to a tree.
