Fairfield Inn & Suites Grand Rapids North

Completely wonderful hotel. It almost feels like a 4 star hotel with the exquisite furnishings they used from the lobby, hall way, and the room. The location is fantastic as you have almost everything you need in walking distance such as restaurant, supermarket, departmental store, theatre.

Bed uncomfortable, pillows worn out and need replacing. Breakfast food was horrible, undercooked bacon, indescribable sausage, just plain gross eggs. Overflowing Trash on 3rd floor for over 2 days in a row and was the same garbage. Stained floor from spilled coffee on first floor by elevators not cleaned for over 2 days. 2 machines broken in fitness center. Homeless people wandering parking lot from shared parking lot with the plasma donation center. I usually stay at IHG hotels who have much cleaner common areas and much better breakfast but had to stay here as this is where rooms were booked for work. Dreading spending another upcoming week here. Very inconvenient to have to get up earlier to go find breakfast. Thankfully Panera is close by. I’m a Bonvoy member and really haven’t experienced these issues before but like I said I’m gonna try to stay elsewhere at IHG brand in the future

It’s nice. Location very convenient ! Lots of parking! Friendly knowledgeable staff ! Great full breakfast ! Indoor Pool is tiny but warm and cute.

Room choice Overall great; disappointed that we couldn’t get adjoining rooms even though I called well in advance with request.

The hotel was very convenient to get to off the freeway. The rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. Restaurants and shopping were right there.
