This place is a shadow of what it used to be. The hotel’s charm has completely worn off, and the family running it seems to have lost interest in maintaining any standards. The rooms are overpriced, noisy, and far from relaxing. The food, while still decent, is nowhere near the quality it was a few years ago. Expectation times are ridiculous—there’s rarely anyone at reception, and there aren’t enough waitresses to handle even a half-full restaurant. Sadly, the hotel gets worse with each passing year, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone anymore

Vi skulle på Vossajazz og hadde et nydelig opphold på Store Ringheim.Spesielt fornøyd var vi med middagen vi bestilte på kvelden. Utrolig smafullt og vakkert anrettet.

โรงแรมเป็นเหมือนบ้านหลายๆหลัง รีเซฟชั่นอยู่ที่เดียวกับบาร์และห้องอาหาร เป็นโรงแรมที่ไม่เหมือนโรงแรม เหมือนเอาบ้านพักหลายๆหลังมาทำเป็นโรงแรมก็น่ารักดี
ห้องที่เราอยู่เป็นบ้าน 1 หลังมี 3 ชั้น เราอยู่ชั้นสองซึ่งมี 2 ห้อง ข้างล่าง 3 ห้อง และชั้นสามไม่แน่ใจว่ากี่ห้อง ห้องนอนและห้องน้ำค่อนข้างใหญ่ แต่ถ้าคนตัวสูงมากจะค่อนข้างอึดอัดเพราะเพดานเตี้ย
ที่นี่มีอุปกรณ์ในห้องน้ำให้ครบ ชอบมาก
มีกาน้ำร้อนให้ด้วย
ที่ชอบที่สุดคือที่นอน เพราะไม่นิ่มเกินไป นอนสบายกว่าทุกๆที่
วิวที่พักสวยมาก
ห้องพักค่อนข้างสะอาด
เสียดาย อาหารเช้ามีให้เลือกน้อยและไม่มีอะไรพิเศษเลยทั้งๆที่เป็น Hotel&restaurant ทำให้พลาดจากห้าคะแนนเต็มไป

Store Ringheim Hotel is a special place. It's up on the hill and if you're willing to do the 30 minute uphill walk then you can get some lovely views of Voss. Of course you can always drive too. The rooms are very comfortable, with plenty of pillows and a good shower. There's an outlet on each side of the bed. It feels very well designed. The restaurant is excellent, both dinner and breakfast. The half board option is absolutely the way to go. Everything is fresh, local, and delicious. The owners of the hotel know their craft well! I was there in the low season, and I was the only guest, but they still made me feel welcome.

Store Ringheim, in the town of Voss, was a delightful place to stay. The rooms are bright, comfortable and exceptionally clean. The hotel is nestled in the hills with lovely views of the nearby valleys. The folk museum is just a few minutes walk away and is wonderfully done. The restaurant provided our favorite meals, both for breakfast and dinner, during our extended trip through Scandinavia. The staff are exceptionally personable and informative in this owner-staffed hotel. Artwork throughout the facility is exceptional due to the artistic ability of the owners. We have stayed in dozens of bed and breakfasts and this was one of our best experiences ever.

Tres bel hôtel dans un vieux corps de ferme. Il est situé au dessus de la ville de Voss avec une belle vue sur le lac et les environs . Personnel très sympathique et qui parle français. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est très bon avec une carte préparé par le chef.
