On New Year's Eve in 2025, my family and I chose Moganshan Binlincheng. This B&B hidden in the green mountains combines the tranquility of nature with a unique modern design. The wooden structure and simple lines are intertwined and reflected, and every detail reveals the designer's intention and taste. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, the mountains in the distance are like dark blue, and the bamboo forests in the near distance are swaying, forming a vivid landscape painting. There is a spacious open-air hot spring pool on the top floor. If the month is right, you can imagine the spring water under the moonlight, and the stars in the sky, mixed with the aura and tenderness of the mountain. There is a square pool in the Lanji room, waiting to dispel the winter cold, and the water waves gently caress, taking away the traveler's fatigue. As the sun sets in the west, the curling smoke rises, sitting quietly in a corner of the balcony, listening carefully to the singing of the tired birds returning to the forest and the faint barking of dogs in the distance - there are new guests staying, and the gradually rising fireworks coincide with the joy of the world. After all, I didn't stay up until the New Year's Eve. There were not many firecrackers in the mountains, just a few sporadic ones to accompany people to sleep. When I woke up, it was already the first morning of the new year. The fresh and moist air in the mountains hit me. The warmth in the room was enough to resist the coldness of January. I greedily took a deep breath, comfortable and satisfied. The starry sky, the spring water, the laughter of my family, and the silent gaze of the cat ”accompanying meals” in the store, together compiled the beautiful memories of the New Year's Eve in 2025.

We chose the homestay for it's secluded location and loved every bit of it! The rooms were fantastic. The staff were very warm and welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect. The bbq experience with the outdoor karaoke setup was great! Sang our hearts out! The view of the bamboo forest from the room coupled with an outdoor balcony made the evenings that much more special to enjoy with our group. The breakfast meals were an absolute delight and the staff made sure to cater exactly as we requested. Transport (via alipay car hail) was a bit of an issue because of the scarcity of taxis in the area, but the auntie at the hotel was kind enough to arrange a taxi through one of her friends. The hotel outdoor area is very spacious and had multiple activities to follow including water gun fights and trampolines. We really did let the kid inside of us run wild this weekend. The fishing experience was fun and educating although we couldn't catch any ourselves. All in all, such a great weekend and will definitely recommend to anyone including foreigners. 5/5 Totally satisfied.

In the hot summer, the summer resorts around Shanghai must belong to Moganshan. During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, I took a one-year-old baby to start my first trip in life. I agreed with my husband to choose the warm home to Guishanju.
Although the traffic jam from Shanghai was serious, the boat and car had been exhausted for nearly five hours before arriving at the destination. Xiaobao began to dance excitedly from the moment he stepped into the small courtyard. Upstairs and downstairs, inside and outside, he asked for a place he could reach, and all observed it again! Under the bayberry tree, grandmother took him to pick up bayberry, tease the puppy, touch the rabbit, father took swimming in the pool to play in the water, mother is a full-time photographer, all this is too interesting for the baby!
The owner of the hotel was hospitable and took us to experience picking peaches, picking bayberry, and drinking homemade bayberry juice. Before leaving, we took away a basket of bayberry, peaches and home-grown vegetables. It was really full of harvest!
For friends who like flowers and plants, the small courtyard is simply a small botanical garden, all kinds of flowers and plants, pleasing to the eye.
I especially praise my aunt’s cooking skills. The taste is very good, and the dishes are rich and the portion is sufficient, which tastes better than eating in a restaurant…
In addition, I personally suggest that a small month-old baby, this room with two rooms and three beds is more suitable. Before booking the room, I thought that the baby would sleep at night without a bed fence. I tangled for a long time. I didn’t decide to bring Xiaobao out. It turned out that my choice was very correct. 1.8 The big bed of rice can be allowed to roll on the bed by Xiaobao, and there is no need to worry about him falling off the bed.

I chose Anji Lanshe B&B for the New Year's Eve, and I was directly pinched!
📍 The location of the homestay is superb, the transportation is convenient, very close to the Zhongnan Baicao Garden and the museum, and it is just a traffic light passing by. It is picturesque all the way by car.
🏡 Entering the homestay, the overall style is simple and stylish. The lily bed room I booked opened the door and the warm atmosphere came. The room is exquisitely furnished, the bed is soft and comfortable, clean, and every detail reveals the cleanliness of the owner of the homestay.
🍱 I have to praise the meal at the hotel. Breakfast is fresh ingredients carefully prepared by the proprietress herself, opening a full day of vitality. For dinner, I tasted their signature farmhouse dishes. The ingredients were fresh and the taste was superb. Every mouthful was the taste of home.
💁♂️ The service has nothing to say. From the beginning of the reservation, the proprietress communicated intimately, warmly received after arriving at the store, helped carry the luggage, and responded to any needs during the stay in time.

Our luggage was not heavy, so we did not ask the housekeeper to pick us up. However, someone came to pick us up after we arrived. They were very responsible. Because we wanted to get together with friends, but we booked late, we could only stay in the standard room in the annex building. We have been prepared for the general conditions, but it is actually very good. Everyone has different requirements. My requirements for accommodation are clean, quiet, and parent-child rooms. All three of these are up to standard, especially the bed is 1.5 meters long, which is very friendly to those with children. Although the facilities are not particularly good, they are very clean and attentive. Moreover, our room is far from the stairs and not noisy. The housekeeper thoughtfully turned on the electric blanket in advance. It was not cold at all at night, but a little too hot. There are spare blankets in the room, but the dust smell is a bit strong. It is recommended to dry the blankets in the sun for a better effect. The breakfast is simple but warm. Because the weather is cold, the milk is a little cold. I did not ask for it, but the housekeeper came to help heat it up. The service is very considerate. The maple leaves turned red a week later this year than in previous years. They were not red when we went there, but the overall mood of Wangshan Villa is very good, comfortable and quiet. The weather is relatively warm and it is very comfortable to bask in the sun, so it is not a regret. Let's come again next year.

🍁Meals: Breakfast is available from 8 to 10 in the morning, and afternoon tea🫖 in the afternoon (ordered near the swimming pool), farm food for dinner is very good (old hen stew is very nutritious and delicious), and there is a private butler service throughout the process very nice~

Ernest and his team were super supportive since the first moment of the reservation and assisted us immediately through WeChat if any question. We also enjoyed their exquisite Chinese local dinner set; it was tasty and fresh! The breakfast is also very delicious. Finally, the bedroom was really amazing, with one of the best views I’ve had in a countryside hotel by far; just spectacular to relax and get a perfect getaway from the city. GGuest UserWe spent a short summer vacation in Mogan Mountain. Before our trip, we spent hours looking for accommodation and decided to try this guesthouse based on the many positive reviews. Indeed, our decision was correct. A local couple runs the guesthouse; they are both very welcoming and ensure guests' stay at their guesthouse is as enjoyable as at home. The guesthouse is located at the foot of Mogan Mountain, ten more minutes walking distance to Moganshan Town. It is also convenient to hike up Mogan Mountain from the guesthouse. By the way, this guesthouse accepts foreigners. During our stay, the hostess always made sure we had enough breakfast and kept adding to it. Back to the guesthouse in the evening, she invited us to taste the local beers and insisted on no charging; we were appreciated and touched by her enthusiasm. We had lunch at the guesthouse before checking out. They prepared food ingredients on the day or a day before, so we needed to book in advance with the owners. The food prepared by the male host is delicious; it is better than the restaurants outside, and the price is reasonable. Before leaving, the couple enthusiastically gave us some local chicken eggs to take home. Based on our staying experience, as foreigners, we highly recommend this guesthouse to those who are planning a vacation in Mogan Mountain. It is an ideal accommodation.

GGuest UserIf you’re looking for a forest mountain getaway far enough from city life, this hotel is a great escape. The hotel is surrounded by bamboo forests and you can hike into the hills. The hotel was very pet friendly for our three dogs. We hiked through the farmland to the nearby reservoir and even discovered an extremely nice coffee shop at the reservoir. We had dinner at the nearest village at a standard restaurant. The location of the hotel is perfect for what we intended for our trip. The workers at the hotel are very hospitable. “Make yourself at home” was the overall feeling from the staff. The only detractor I experienced was the air conditioning in my room didn’t work and the workers were unable to fix it. The hotel amenities we enjoyed were the pool, bbq grill, and their pet allowance. It was a great stay overall!

I left Shanghai after get off work on Friday and arrived at the hotel in less than three hours. As soon as I parked the car, several young ladies were very enthusiastic to help with the luggage and check in. They also prepared Tremella soup and asked us if we wanted instant noodles.
I stayed for two nights and felt that the service was too good! A few days before check-in, I communicated with the needs of hot spring bathing and ordering meals through phone and WeChat. I also took the initiative to inform some small matters. Any needs were responded to quickly in a few days. It was very comfortable but not overly enthusiastic. The air conditioner in the room was already turned on when I checked in that day. When I was taking a hot spring bath, I was provided with pick-up and drop-off. Fruits and tea were also prepared. I didn't want to eat breakfast in the restaurant the next day, so I wanted to ask for help to deliver some breakfast. Then the lady came in the rain and delivered two large bags of food in a short time. There was sweet soup every night. On the first day, it was Tremella soup, and on the second day, it was rice wine dumplings. The warm and unpretentious attitude really made people feel comfortable.
Food🍜: The meals here were all great. The breakfast was exquisite and the ingredients were fresh. The main dishes were large and were seasoned with the ingredients themselves. The fruits, hot spring baths and tea in the room were also great.
It was a super happy and relaxing journey. Everything exceeded expectations. I am looking forward to trying other room types next time😂
If you have to find faults (purely personal opinion)~
1. The bed may have been used for a long time, and the sound of getting on and off the bed was a little loud.
2. I looked for the self-service vending machine for a long time, but it was empty.
3. The chairs on the terrace were a little dirty.

The proprietress is very enthusiastic and very nice. The fruit sent was a bit flawed, so I gave it to us again. Also happy to send us to the distribution center. It feels a bit commercial. The room is very simple, just two beds and a table. Even the stools are saved. So it feels a bit expensive. There is a yard where you can park. It is very convenient to go to the street to eat in a few minutes. The picture is just the scenery outside the window and the place to eat. I hope I can give a reference to friends who are going to the hotel.

This time staying in Mengpo Building of Queens Hotel is really pleasant. As soon as the window is opened in the room, you can see naked Castle! The breakfast environment helps! The young lady is very nice! It is worth recommending Mengpolou when you come to Moganshan!

Every time I come, it is a different and pleasant experience for others, so that the tired body and mind can go home with electricity. Every time I come, I feel like I am fattening hahaha...
