Das historische Anwesen strahlt eine besondere Ruhe und Authentizität aus, ohne dabei auf modernen Komfort im edlen Design zu verzichten. Das gesamte Team unter der Leitung von Elisabeth, überzeugt mit herzlicher Gastfreundschaft und aufmerksamer Professionalität – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und umsorgt. Kulinarisch ist der Ansitz Steinbock ein echtes Erlebnis: Die Küche bewegt sich zwischen alpiner Bodenständigkeit und feiner Raffinesse, mit einer über 850 Positionen umfassenden Weinkarte, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Hier spürt man die Liebe zum Detail, zum Handwerk – und zum Gast. Die Rückkehr ist für mich keine Frage des Ob, sondern nur des Wann. Ein Haus mit Charakter, Seele und Stil. Top Service, super freundliche Bedienung, ein wunderbares Zimmer. Und noch schöner das ganze Gebäude. Das Rund um einfach wunderschön. Super Möglichkeit zu Fuss Ausflüge zu machen oder natürlich mit dem Auto. Auch in der Nähe für eine Wein Degustation super.

Exquisite hotel
Our family of 4 stayed here one night on our visit to the Dolomites. The building was amazingly restored and the little details were exquisite. While we opted out of dinner, the breakfast was amazing. Our boys really enjoyed the in room sauna and we wish we would have been staying longer.

Wow experience
We (2 adults, 1 child) spent a night at this hotel and it was indeed great experience.
The facility is some kind of small ancient castle or monastery. The interior is probably totally renovated since it feels new in a good way. It's located high up in the mountains, in a cozy little village.
Our room was one of the best I've stayed in. Luxorious, tasteful and with a jawbreaking view from the balcony.
Treatment from staff was good and personal. Elizabeth (which I assume is the owner) was very nice and friendly.
We didnt try the dinner since it felt like a waste together with a child. However the breakfast was very good with high quality products and hot dishes prepared on demand.

Our stay at Ansitz Steinbock was superb because Elisabeth guided us on our journey through the Dolomites. Her recommendations for sights and restaurants were excellent . The hotels is wonderfully appointed and the views breathtaking. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone coming to the Dolomites. Meals at the hotel were also well prepared. Thank you Elizabeth!

Words cannot describe how much we loved our 4 night stay in this superbly renovated 700 year old castle. Elisabeth and her wonderful team went out of their way to make our stay special. Each morning Elisabeth would help us with our plan for the day and because of this we saw the most spectacular parts of this beautiful region. Breakfast was exceptional as was dinner in the restaurant. Pre dinner drinks outside in the beautiful courtyard with the mountains as backdrop was also very special. A nearby pool and sauna in a picturesque setting were also available, a wonderful treat after a warm day of exploring! Thank you Elisabeth, Peter and I will definitely be back.
