Heel fijn en prachtig op een helling gelegen hotel met zicht op het dal. Geen moeite is de medewerkers teveel, ze staan altijd voor je klaar en zullen ervoor zorgen dat het je aan niets zal ontbreken tijdens je verblijf. De upgrade naar een gerenoveerde kamer was z'n prijs meer dan waard. Wij hopen hier net als veel andere gaten zeker nog eens terug te keren!

Das Hotel ist sehr schön. Das Essen leider fast nur Fleisch, kaum Fisch. Keine große Abwechslung. Für uns ist der Start des Abendessens um 19 Uhr zu spät, da meist erst um 20 Uhr die Suppe serviert wurde. Vor 21 Uhr war fast nie das Dessert gebracht worden. Leider kein Käsebuffet. Salatbuffet immer gleich. Zum Frühstück: Brotauswahl hielt sich in Grenzen, am letzten Tag! wurden wir von einer für uns neuen Bedienung gefragt, ob wir gerne frische Eierspeisen möchten. Die ganze Woche wurde dies hinter dem Berg gehalten. Für ein 4 Sterne Hotel nicht ausreichend! Sauna ging zwei Mal nicht. Der Herr an der Rezeption wurde dabei schon nervös. Hier vielen Dank fürs Kümmern!! Leider hört man die Autobahn oder/und den Fluss ziemlich laut als beständiges Hintergrundrauschen, wenn man auf dem Balkon ist und z. t. in den Aussenanlagen. Auch die laufende Beschallung in den Speisesälen trägt nicht zum Entspannen bei.

Schon zum viertem Mal haben wir eine Woche im Stephanshof zum Wanderurlaub in Südtirol verbracht. Wie schon bei unseren vorherigen Aufenthalten haben wir uns in jeder Hinsicht sehr wohl gefühlt. Küche und Keller bieten beste Qualität, alle Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein solches Niveau bei den nicht immer optimalen Rahmenbedingungen zu halten, ist eine große Herausforderung für einen Familienbetrieb. Herzlichen Dank an Matthias und Lukas Egger und alle Mitarbeitenden!

Wir haben einige sehr erholsame Tage in diesem Hotel verbracht. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind die modern und stilvoll renovierten Zimmer, die einen hohen Wohlfühlfaktor bieten. Auch der großzügige Spa-Bereich hat uns überzeugt – eine tolle Möglichkeit zum Entspannen. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, Parkmöglichkeiten sind ausreichend vorhanden und das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch in puncto Sauberkeit gab es nichts zu beanstanden. Etwas enttäuschend empfanden wir jedoch das kulinarische Angebot. Die Menüzusammenstellung wirkte teilweise einfallslos – es wurden zwar unterschiedliche Fleischsorten angeboten, allerdings fast immer mit denselben Beilagen. Eine klare Linie oder ein erkennbares Konzept in der Küche fehlte uns leider, vor allem mit Blick auf unsere Erwartungen an die Südtiroler Küche. Hier wäre mehr Kreativität und Regionalität wünschenswert gewesen. Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag zum Wellnessbereich: Der Bereich rund um die Aussen-Sauna dürfte gern etwas gepflegter und einladender gestaltet sein – auch schon im Mai, wenn schon einige Gäste draußen entspannen möchten. Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel mit viel Potenzial – vor allem im kulinarischen Bereich ist noch Luft nach oben.
