The Leo Grand

Very good hotel. Location is very good. The staff are amazing. The breakfast food in the restaurant is a la card. I didn't like it. The room is very comfortable, but is lack of a working table and chair.

The Leo Grand has a lot of appeal. The design is great, the location is perfect. Wonderful high quality beds and linens and lovely Penhaligons toiletries. Breakfast was included booking via ******* and that was a big plus as otherwise it’s quite expensive. The covered and heated courtyard which also serves as the dining room plays music til late ish as the restaurant is busy and fun - but I wouldn’t book a room overlooking the courtyard for fear it would be noisy. Our room faced the street outward and was blissfully peaceful.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous and charming. The room was elegant and comfortable. They provided a complimentary bottle of wines and a couple of macarons upon my arrival to my room. Room was clean, everything seemed new. Although the hotel is in a central location near Stephansplatz, it’s not noisy at night, so I was able to get a good nights sleep uninterrupted. I didn’t get the chance to try their breakfast or dinner, but they have a swanky restaurant on the first floor that’s not too crowded. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Vienna, and would stay here again. Thank you for the pleasant experience!

What a fantastic Hotel, there really is nothing that can be faulted here. This is a privately owned 76 room Boutique Hotel run by the amazing Manager Isabella. So many properties get a 5 star rating due to their location, the fact they have porters or room service etc but this Hotel get its well deserved rating for the fact that everything they provide is of the highest quality. The reception staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, and as already mentioned the management are exceptional, time to talk to everyone regardless of the Hotel being fully occupied. From the outside the property actually looks like a shop but once inside the beauty, comfort and facilities soon dispels that thought. Location could not be better, look out from the front door and you see the amazing Church in front of you. Everything you might want is within walking distance and if you want to arrange anything from a taxi to a trip down the Danube, reception staff are happy to recommend and make arrangements for you without being pushy or trying to sell you anything. Bedrooms - really comfortable with some great little touches which really impress. The Mini bar is stocked with Beer, Wine and soft drinks, all at no charge and replenished daily. A bottle of chilled wine in an ice bucket awaits your arrival together with a personalised welcome message. If you like technology you will be impressed by the tablet on the side which can be used to control everything from the TV & telephone to the light switches and the flickering Candles but don't worry, if you don't like that idea they will provide you with a standard remote control. Even the doors have special closures as you don't have to push the handle down - there is some sort of magnetic closure in use which makes the doors close very quietly and effortlessly. The bed is ultra comfortable as are the pillows and everything is very well cleaned daily. Food: Unfortunately the main restaurant was not operational at the time of our visit due to work being carried out but will reopen in the next couple of weeks, however, the"courtyard" was available for breakfast and what a breakfast you can have! To start with you are served a complimentary shot of pure raspberry juice and a bread basket. The menu is extensive and the quality of the food is, as with everything else, is of the. highest standard. The attache photo shows "Margaritas Healthy Breakfast" - it's more like a three course meal.! There was a bowl of yoghurt with fruit and Granola, another with cream cheese and chives, yet another with various sliced vegetables. A plate of smoked salmon and another plate of cheese together with toast and breads. There was a very unusual ornament in the breakfast room which many people including Hotel Staff, puzzled over. I now know what it is, photo attached for you to puzzle over as well ;o) Cost: Yes this is not the cheapest Hotel around but as they say "you get what you pay for", there are bargains to be had, you just

This old building has been lovingly restored and transformed from apartments into a fabulously stylish and quirky hotel. Location is superb: you fall out of the front door and you're in the heart of all the main tourist sights in central Vienna (yet our room opening onto the main courtyard was blissfully peaceful for a sound nights sleep). Staff were very welcoming at check-in and gave us helpful tips as first-time visitors to Vienna, including maps and a mini guide to must-see places. The welcome bottle of wine on ice in the room was just what we needed after our journey, and lots of choice of drinks in the complimentary mini-bar too. Quirky decor which I loved, and the huge bathroom was very luxurious with wonderfully fluffy bathrobes and a separate bath and shower. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and book if you're looking for a peaceful stay in an oh-so-central location (valet parking keeps things easy if you're driving - just given them notice when you need your car. Not an issue for us as we walked everywhere and only used the car when we left for our next destination).

This is probably one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, if not the best. Such a beautiful hotel, the rooms are exquisite with huge attention paid to the little details. The staff were simply wonderful and the welcome we received was outstanding. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the centre of the old town and almost next to St Stephen’s cathedral. We had such a relaxing two nights - the pillows were like sleeping on clouds!! Would highly recommend
