The Hoxton Vienna

The hotel in a great location, 5-minute walk to Metro station and 2-minute walk to a very nice restaurant. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The lobby has a good coffee shop. However, there is no hanger in the bathroom to hold the clothes

The bed was sooo comfy, the breakfast was just excellent and the swimming pool and the cuban feeling a real summer feeling experience !!!!

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stays I’ve ever had! An architectural miracle as central to the city centre as it gets with great personnel and super kind people (I mean the hotel stuff). I’ll stay there for sure! Special mention and love to each and everyone in Bouvier (hotel’s restaurant) and please make the super kind Eunice CEO asap!

My boyfriend and I have just returned home from a 3 night stay at The Hoxton in Vienna, we enjoyed our stay overall. Location is good, close to Stadtpark metro and walkable from Karlsplatz. There are quite a few steep hills around this hotel, so be wary if you’re travelling with a wheelchair user. Breakfast was good, although pricey for the tiny potion size. Rooftop bar is lovely with amazing views, but €16 for a basic cocktail is crazy, when there’s a bar overlooking touristy Stephansplatz with cocktails for €10. It’s a shame the pool is on a higher level, as the lift goes to floor 8, but a flight of stairs makes it inaccessible to a wheelchair. Otherwise, it’s a stylish and modern hotel with good decor — the photobooth on the basement floor is a nice touch too. An accessible room isn’t bookable online, so I wrote it in special requests. I emailed a few days ahead of check in to double check - the staff were friendly but no access room was available, the only option was to upgrade for more space at €120. This wasn’t suitable as the bathroom was a stamp, so they then downgraded someone not requiring access facilities. At checkout however, they still wanted €120 upgrade fee. I paid reluctantly, as the woman didn’t seem to understand/listen. But why should we pay extra for accessible facilities when it’s not a choice, it’s a requirement for me and when my first request was ignored. Overall we had a pleasant stay, with no other major faults. It’s a shame we left feeling robbed and with a sour taste after what was a nice stay.
