Great hotel. Leknes is a small town. I rented a car from Leknes Airport. It is only a few minutes away from the hotel. Parking at the entrance of the hotel is also free. The location is easy to find. There is a gas station and a supermarket nearby, which are only a few minutes' walk away, which is very convenient. The hotel room facilities are also very new, very comfortable to live, and the restaurant downstairs serves breakfast, which is very hearty. I stayed in the Lofoten Islands for three days and two nights. I came and went by plane in Leknes. Personally, I think this is a more reasonable way. Leknes is indeed a convenient transfer station, and this hotel is also very good. , In general, it was a great experience and worth recommending.

My wife and I stayed at Solsiden Brygge for 4 nights in May, 2024 as a home-base for exploring the Lofoten Islands. The location was centrally located, never had to drive further than an hour within the area. We stayed in the Standard 1-Bedroom Apartment (H15) and the room was the perfect size for 2 people. The oven and stove were broken so we told the front desk and they provided a temporary fix that night, and then fully fixed it the next day for us. The breakfast buffet was available from 8am - 10am each day and there was a wide variety of food choices. The hotel was really quiet and peaceful and we really enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I had an awesome time on this deep sea fishing trip with Captain Borge! We were blown away with the amount of fish we caught as a group. The Captain has such an immense wealth of knowledge. It was amazing to learn how to fish from him and to see him fillet the fish! Would definitely do this again and recommend to friends! And all for a very competitive price!

My very first experience with glamping was memorable. The view was extraordinary, the room was big enough and we had almost everything we needed there. The bed was made from a special wood, that smelled like forest the entire stay. Notice that the bathroom is 50m away from the room. The few steps you have to do back to the room after shower/toilet can be freezing in case of cold or rainy weather. Some dish soap and a sponge to clean the cutlery would be great to have at the glamping.

The hostel was difficult to find due to the lack of clear signage, which was frustrating upon arrival. Additionally, the noise insulation was very poor—I could hear footsteps and movement from upstairs throughout the night, which severely impacted my sleep and caused insomnia. While the hostel has potential, these issues need to be addressed to improve the overall experience. It’s a suitable choice for budget travelers prioritizing convenience, but light sleepers may want to consider other options.

Favorite · From inside it looks much more attractive than from outside. Beautiful, large room with great views over the port. Quiet. Very good, full breakfast, great musli, great bread, delicious marmelade etc. etc. North lights we could see directly in front of the hotel :) Sufficient parking in front of the house. Not liked · On the first night we received a false statement about the hotel (a few steps away), which then had not opened until 22:00 because of the secondary season but at 20:00: 50 no food anymore offered (as an alternative there was only the long open supermarket (mega nice cashma) next to the restaurant or in Leknes (13 km away)
