Venice Cannaregio 5-star Hotels

This is the first time I write a review on Ctrip. I'll say that when you are away from home, don't be too hypocritical, and don't ask and expect too much. But this time I can't help but tell the truth. Let's talk about the price first. 1. The standard large room of this hotel is more than 4,000 yuan per night. This room type is enough for two people. After arriving at the hotel, we still asked how much it would cost to upgrade to a better room, and the front desk receptionist took us to see two upgraded rooms with different decoration styles, but it would cost about 350-400 euros. In the end, we gave up because of the price and felt it was not worth it. In addition to the larger space, although there is a sea view, it is not a floor-to-ceiling window. 2. The design style is dark. I personally think that this hotel should be suitable for young people under 25 years old who are avant-garde in art. It is a personalized design boutique hotel. For other business travelers with high comfort requirements/poor eyesight or older people, forget it, because it is really a bit dark, a bit dark, and the practicality of various buttons in the room is really a bit brain-consuming. It is more recommended to choose a chain brand five-star hotel). At least those brands are more mature in operation, the service is also very professional, and the courtesy is more diverse. 3. The reception is not good enough. There is no pick-up service. This is a hotel on the main island. If you come here, you can book a water taxi ticket at the airport (140 euros for two people, a special boat, 20-30 minutes to get off at the hotel door, it is quite smooth.), but you will be very embarrassed when you leave the hotel. Anyway, we are going to Lucia Railway Station to take 🚞 to Milan. The hotel staff did not provide any service to help us see off. You know, guests like us from the ”Eastern Tang Dynasty” have several suitcases and have to travel through several cities. We dragged several heavy luggage all the way, and there were 5-6 bridges on the cobblestone road and 20 minutes of walking. Oh my God! Where is the decency of staying in a boutique hotel? ! ! It's really ironic! ! As a hotel of this price on the island, a representative hotel, it is marked as the No. 1 luxury hotel in Venice on Ctrip... It really made me feel very, very bad. 3. I am quite satisfied with the hotel breakfast. You have to order a set meal on the spot, which is freshly made and not self-service, probably to avoid waste. As shown in the picture, the drinks, water, snacks, etc. in the mini bar in the room are all free. 4. If you are a little superstitious, you don’t have to choose this hotel, because the standard room is a sky view room, which is really depressing, with insufficient light, and dark style design. I almost brought my own black magic. There is also an art installation in the corridor at the door of my room. As shown in Figure 1, there are all kinds of monsters moving in a pool of mud... Just think about it and your stomach will tremble! When we checked in, we were very nervous, and we could only stay in this state of mind. The reason why I have such a long talk is to avoid many compatriots from stepping on thunder. In fact, Venice is very small. One day on this island is enough for you to play. It is similar to you visiting an ancient town in China, but the architectural scenery in Europe is more outstanding. There is no need to stay on this main island. Leave more time to other fun cities!

The overall location of the hotel is good, about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The lobby and breakfast room are connected together, compact and warm, and the food is relatively rich. The only unsatisfactory thing is that we stayed in rooms 219 and 220, and there was a bang bang bang noise at night and in the morning, but fortunately there was no noise at night. When checking out, I reported it to the front desk, and the staff listened patiently and said they would report and check it.

The room is spacious, this is a plus, but there were no toothbrushes in the room, we used a shower cap, no one put a new one, which is extremely strange for 5 stars. On the table was a welcome letter with someone else's first and last name, such an oversight is also very interesting. A huge minus that overshadowed the stay was mosquitoes, the fumigator, which we went to ask for at 2 am also did not help right away, as a result, the night turned out to be sleepless. We left early, the breakfast that they packed for the road was very modest, for two two apples, two waters, two juices, one tiny croissant and the same size pastry made of puff pastry with chocolate and two small yogurts that need to be eaten with a spoon, which they did not give with you, there were no napkins either. The hotel does not pull for its 5 stars at all. Well, or we are used to the fact that 5 stars are a slightly different level.

The hotel is beautiful and well-decorated, with an elegant blend of classic and modern styles. However, its location is a bit far from the main attractions. The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the staff, who were extremely polite and attentive. Unfortunately, the Valentine’s Day dinner was a major disappointment. Despite having great potential to be a special night, it lacked planning and romance. There was no themed decoration, and the music selection was completely off, with Latin music playing instead of a romantic Italian soundtrack. The only saving grace of the evening was the menu—the food was simply delicious, and I am immensely grateful to the chef for that. Without his exceptional cuisine, the night would have been completely ruined. Another frustrating detail was the absence of live music, despite the presence of a piano in the hotel. Throughout the entire weekend, there was no performance, which was a shame, as small details like this could have made a big difference in the atmosphere. Overall, the hotel has its qualities, but the service feels more like a 4-star standard rather than a true 5-star experience.

The train station takes a taxi (boat) - 5 minutes to the hotel pier, and the public pier is at the hotel entrance, very convenient. This time the room was divided into the top floor with a terrace. It is said to be the only one. It is simply unparalleled scenery and enjoyment. I have been to Venice before, but I never thought I could enjoy the skyline of this beautiful city like this. I really hope to stay in this room next time. The hotel breakfast room also shocked me, walking up the grand staircase through the gorgeous hall, immediately reminiscent of the marquis and ladies who had been here all day long hundreds of years ago. Compared with the environment breakfast itself is a bit inferior, but it doesn't matter. There are delicious things everywhere, and this environment is rare. Dinner is also enjoyed at the hotel, the price is not expensive, and the taste is much better than the restaurant outside, I think it is not easy to find a decent restaurant in Venice, rather than wasting time recommending hotel dining.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. The entrance is the pier. It takes two or three minutes to walk to the bus stop, ten minutes to the train station, and free breakfast is provided. Unfortunately, the room did not have air conditioning, which caused us to open the window. As soon as the window was opened, there were many mosquitoes flying in.

The location is 8 minutes from the station, but it is a bit difficult to travel with large luggage because you have to walk across the Constitution Bridge. Other than that, the room is quite large, and it is no problem to put 2 28-inch large luggage and a 20-inch luggage. There is also space to walk, not as small as the previous review said. The key point is that the restaurant has a water purifier, and you can drink unlimited water freely. The experience is very good, close to the water bus ship

price is good for such big room

It's right in front of Santa Lucia Station, so you don't have to take a water bus or walk long with your suitcase. The room was in good condition overall, friendly staff, breakfast and beds were good. If you visit Venice again, you will make a reservation here without hesitation.

This is very old hotel with rundown condition. Room WiFi service was not totally unable to connect throughout the stay. There was no lift and we have to manually carry our luggage. First day of arrive, we were give a room a third floor which totally unexpected without having a lift to carry out belongings manually. After request front desk staff, we were given another room at Hotel Air One which is next building to Hotel Canal and Walter. But there was no lift too and room TV was not working at all. Hotel Air One is extremely old and we didn’t see any guests at all. Next day, we managed to get a room at 1st floor in Hotel Canal and Walter. For family, I don’t recommend this hotel.
