The room is large, with high ceilings. The bathroom is a separate room, not very convenient, but good. Light breakfast, close location to St. Mark's Square. In principle, everything is good and if we are in Venice again, we will stay here.

The building was a converted church, so had high ceilings and lovely old beams. The lady at reception was really nice and provided us with a map of Venice. We had a twin room with a shared bathroom and both the room and bathroom was spotless. We were by a side canal, so very quiet at nighttime.

Situato vicino a piazza San Marco, questa foresteria si trova in una posizione tranquilla e silenziosa. Le camere sono pulite (giornalmente). e solo su richiesta, si può avere la stanza con finestra che affaccia sul canale ed il bagno in camera. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo se si considera che siamo in centro a Venezia.

The hostel was very convenient and the room was clean, breakfast was great with coffee and juices available all of the time. The only objection we had was that the "private bathroom" for our room (15) was down the hall, through 2 lobby areas and through two more doorways. The bathroom was marked 15 and we had a key to it so it was "private" (and clean) just not very convenient. Our friends had rooms in the same building that did have ensuite facilities, so some rooms do have ensuite facilities, just not ours.

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Les chambres restent sommaires mais ca convient très bien à un vouage pour visiter venise. Très correct. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour un bon séjour. Déco spartiate, pas de TV, vous êtes dans un couvent, mais c’est très bien. Emplacement exceptionnel a qqs minutes de place st marc.

Foresteria Venezia Hostel is a beautiful, characterful building with an authentically Italian feel. Friendly staff. Clean but basic facilities. Comfortable stay. Great value for money with breakfast included. We booked a twin room with shared bathroom, but on arrival were given a free upgrade to a room with private bathroom. Would recommend a stay here.

Firstly difficult to find. Great stay with friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom clean with good quality linen. Breakfast adequate with good spread. Very central and close to Vaporette. A lift is available for luggage. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby.
