This apartment was fabulous, usually rooms in Venice are tiny, but here we had a large bedroom, with a walk in cupboard for storing clothes and suitcases, a very large living/dining room/kitchenette and la large shower/toilet. Exceeded our expectations.
Location is good but you need to plan ahead because hauling suitcases while checking a map is not easy.
The shower can be a bit intimidated as it seems to be complicated but after it was explained by the hosts it was not an issue.
Definitely worth a visit.

Residenza Ducato is an incredible place to stay in the heart of Venice. Close to all the major attractions. Everything in the apartment is 1st class. The hosts could not be more helpful. They are eager to answer all your questions and arrange anything you need during the stay. The apartments are first class. Very clean and well decorated. You will not regret your decision to stay here.

Situato in una zona centrale e ben servita di Venezia a pochi passi dalle principali attrazioni. Siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti in termini di accoglienza, cordialità, attenzione al cliente, comodità e pulizia dell'appartamento. Siamo stati indirizzati perfettamente nei migliori posti della laguna e siamo riusciti malgrado il breve pernottamento a goderci il clima ed i più bei posti di Venezia grazie alla preparatissima direzione che ha saputo prepararci un tour più che completo. Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole e non vediamo l'ora di tornare.

A hidden gem in Venice. A lovely building located just a few minutes away from St. Mark's Square. The apartments are spacious, clean, nicely decorated and well equipped at a very resonable room rate. Their staff is very helpful and friendly.

I loved this place and will definitely stay again when in Venice. So close to all the major sights, shopping and restaurants, but super quiet at night for sleeping - couldn’t hear a peep despite the central location. Host was amazing, with restaurant tips, arranging an early 5am taxi to the airport and super friendly greeting each time we came home. Apartment was serviced daily which was a very nice indeed. Book it, you won’t regret!

Very comfortable, spacious and relaxing room. The dining table was perfect for us to regroup after a full day of walking, layout our purchases, editing pictures and reflecting on how beautiful and unique Venice is. The proprietors were very helpful and right on with their food recommendations. They were accommodating with our luggage storage, giving us a few more hours in Venice after we checked out. We had a kitchen in the suite, but wasn't used much given how much excellent food are available within a short walk from the hotel. But was good to be able to make a cup of coffee on our first morning to reset our brain's time zone. All in all a very good experience. Will return. Oh, beware of cobble stone walkways and stairways if you are planning on bringing heavy roller suitcases...

I was part of a group of three families that stayed at Residenza Ducato over Christmas. We all really enjoyed our stay there. Its location couldn't be better, and for the rates we were impressed by how nicely appointed the rooms were. Our two kids had comfy beds set up for them in the living room/kitchen, and the master bedroom was spacious and spotless. Paola was incredibly nice and helpful, right down to the marshmallow Santas she left on the door for Christmas. Highly recommend staying here.
