Residenza Ducato

This apartment was fabulous, usually rooms in Venice are tiny, but here we had a large bedroom, with a walk in cupboard for storing clothes and suitcases, a very large living/dining room/kitchenette and la large shower/toilet. Exceeded our expectations. Location is good but you need to plan ahead because hauling suitcases while checking a map is not easy. The shower can be a bit intimidated as it seems to be complicated but after it was explained by the hosts it was not an issue. Definitely worth a visit.

Great location. Easy walks and boat rides to everywhere we wanted to go. All the staff are very helpful and very friendly. The apartment was stunning and well stocked. We also got wonderful local recommendations for food, shopping and sightseeing. Thank you Valentina, Paola, Piero and Laura! A trip to remember.

We stayed in Room 21 for 3 nights and it was a great base for exploring Venice. The property is minutes away from St Mark's Square and the Rialto bridge but feels secluded and peaceful. The apartment itself is great - very spacious and well-equipped, including stove, microwave, dishwasher and mini-bar fridge. The mattress was on the firm side though. The bathroom was also very spacious with double sinks and a large rain shower. We were particularly happy that bathroom slippers were provided, which is not common in Europe. The reception is only staffed during the day and the front entrance is locked after hours, but we contacted the property by email to inform them that we were arriving late at night, and they were happy to provide us with a digital key (via an app) to access the property and pick up the room key from the reception desk. The two women who were at the reception on different days were both very kind and happily attended to all our requests, including to borrow plug adapters and to have a later check-out (since no one was booked in our room the following day).
