The hotel is very old, there is no service to speak of, and nothing you need is available.

It takes only 5 minutes to reach the hotel pier by taxi (boat) from the train station, and the public pier is just in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. This time, the room was assigned to the top floor with a terrace, which is said to be the only one. It is simply unparalleled scenery and enjoyment. I have been to Venice before, but I never thought that I could enjoy the skyline of this beautiful city like this. I really hope that I can live in this room next time. The breakfast room of the hotel also shocked me. Walking up the grand staircase and passing through the gorgeous hall, it immediately reminds me of the marquis and ladies who entertained guests here all day long hundreds of years ago. Compared with the environment, the breakfast itself is a bit inferior, but it doesn't matter, there are delicious things everywhere, and this kind of environment is rare. Dinner is also served at the hotel, the price is not expensive, and the taste is much better than the restaurants outside. I think it is not easy to find a decent restaurant in Venice. Instead of wasting time, I recommend eating in the hotel.

The room was 202, the former 2-story library of the palace. It was stunning. The library shelves are still there and contains a walkway around the upper lever (it is not accessible due to the structural condition of the building). However, only a half bath on room floor and full bath upstairs. The access to the room is almost blocked by the closet so not for anyone who needs full width of a door. The floor is slightly unlevel, but noticeable. A light on the front balcony partially lite the room at night as the shade would not cover the window completely. The air conditioning was either freezing or had to turn off, only to get stuffy. We could not get the thermostat to work. Breakfast is marginal and typical fare, nothing close to a 5 star hotel. Servers were very helpful and kind. Internet service was almost nonexistent. When we asked, it was because too many guests on the service. Also, the sister hotel next door “confuses” the signal. We took advantage of the afternoon lunch on the day of arrival. It was acceptable but caused us to not try the restaurant in the hotel as we were concerned about the quality of the food.

I had a big suite on the Grand Canal overlooking the Rialto Market, The hotel is an original Venetian Palace with space art and beauty. I had an excellent lunch on the Canal Grande looking at the water traffic. Ca Sagredo is the best Venetian property for weeding , romance and special events.

It was a good stay overall with a couple of caveats 1- there is no fitness center, I counted on it but I had to to through the venetian maze of alleys to get the blood pumping. It was rainy foggy and slippery 2- breakfast was included but we did not think it was up to what we were expecting considering the category of the hotel Great location, great service

Historisches Hotel mit ausgesprochen nettem Empfang. Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ein muss bei einem Venedig Besuch.

I personally work for a Hyatt hotel in the USA. When traveling to Italy with my fiancé I was looking for hotels it stay in Venice. This hotel is apart of one of the Hyatt collections so I reached out to the General Manager to see if they could offer a discounted rate. She got me in touch with Stefano who helped arrange an amazing rate with breakfast for my fiancé and I. A little goodie was left in our room as well! Nicola at the desk was great as well. We were having trouble paying the water taxi with credit card due to wifi issues and was able to help take care of us. Terrace overlooking the Canal is lovely as well to grab dinner and drinks! One of the best views in Venice!
