Hotel Dei Dragomanni

Excellent location just 10 minute walk from san marco basillica. Very clean room, spacious, high ceiling, and cleaned everyday. Bathroom with both bathtub and shower separately in standard room. Receptionists friendly and good advice given. Note to families - the walls were very thin and everything (!) could be heard at night. This is however likely common in the old buildings of beautiful Venezia. Overall this is a proper 4 star establishment and would come back and recommend.

My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous three night stay in this wonderful Venetian hotel. From checking in to checking out we could not have asked for or expected higher levels of service from the staff than we received. We were warmly greeted on arrival and staff were only too willing to answer all of our questions on where the sights were and how we got them. We also noticed how immaculately clean the reception area, lobby and beautiful stone staircase were. A member of staff showed us to our room and as a nice and unexpected bonus there was a bottle of Prosecco on ice, waiting for us. A lovely and much appreciated touch. Our room was spotlessly clean and well appointed, with a fridge, safe and more than enough storage space for our clothes. The A/C unit was simple to operate and effective in keeping the room at a comfortable temperature. Another nice touch was the fully opening windows. The bathroom was a good size and like the bedroom, well appointed. After a very long day travelling and some post arrival sightseeing we discovered that the bed was big and very comfortable. The buffet provided a good selection of food for breakfast and the two ladies who looked after guests in the dining room were so helpful and professional. The front door of the hotel is literally a twenty metre walk from a dock that provides a view along the Grand Canal of the Basilica Santa Maria della Salute to the the left and the Ponte dell’ Accademia to the right. Location wise we found the hotel to be within very easy walking distance of the sights that we wanted to see, so for us it was perfectly placed and the fact that it was in a quiet street was a big bonus, too. We couldn’t fault the hotel and its staff and when we return to the beautiful city of Venice (which is inevitable), the Hotel dei Dragomanni will be the place we will want to stay. A huge thank you from my wife and I must go to Alex, Marcus, Thomas and Gaia, who all played a huge part in making our stay iso memorable. All lovely people with the patience of Saints. We would highly recommend anyone considering visiting Venice to take a good look at booking this hotel. We don’t think that you would be disappointed.

My family and I very much enjoyed our 2-night stay while visiting Italy. Alessandro and Marco were incredibly kind and so helpful with recommendations and any questions we had. All staff we encountered were friendly, the hotel was very clean, our family room was spacious, the breakfast was delightful and always fresh and the location was very convenient to the canals or other points of interest.

Exquisite boutique hotel. My room had a canal views that were lovely. The hotel is very nicely appointed. I loved it! All of the staff were friendly and helpful and Alex and Marco at the front desk were excellent. They answered every question we had and arranged several tours for us.
