A beautiful hotel in an old Venetian palazzo that previously belonged to a wealthy family. The location of the hotel is very good - everything is nearby, and the famous bookstore "on the canal" is located in the neighboring courtyard. Also nearby is the Ospetale vaporetto stop to the airport.
The service at the hotel is good, we had breakfast, not very rich, but by Italian standards it was quite filling, we filled ourselves up with it. A very nice girl works in the cafeteria.
The hotel has two entrances/exits, one of which is to the square, and the other to the canal, which makes for beautiful photographs.
The only big minus is the unrealistic audibility in the room! Every morning we suffered from walking back and forth in the heels of our upstairs neighbors, who got up very early and for some reason walked around the room from corner to corner for a very long time.
Overall, for 4 stars and such a historical building, it’s a very decent hotel, we liked it, thank you!

Great location if you’re planning to stay in Venice! Not crowded but in the heart of everything. Easy to walk to the tourist spots! It’s own building and not attached to a store or anything so it was really nice. Super clean and the staff was very friendly!

A wonderful and dreamy accommodation experience. In an ancient city like Venice, it is so unique to be able to live in a noble palace and enjoy the fairy-tale window view.
There are a few gentlemen at the front desk. I am on a business trip this time. Thanks to them for the printing arrangement.
Very convenient location, not far from anywhere, they arranged water taxi for us when we left, the price is affordable.
I am reluctant to leave and hope that I will choose to live here again if I have the opportunity to come to Venice again in the future.

The location of this hotel is great no complaints about it, the stuff is nice friendly and helpful too. The room itself is old without anything other than beds cardboard and a very old school hair dryer. I don’t know why but they don’t even have something to hang the toilet paper which is pretty funny. The 1st day the housekeeper was good we came back to a nicely cleaned room, the 2nd day was like the housekeeper just did what the eyes can see they never even clear away the old towels and all. If a short stay for the location it’s alright but as a 4 star hotel I have no idea how they got it.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with an amazing water entry directly off the canal on one side and the public plaza on the other. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was ideal (in the middle of the city but on the fringe of tourist traffic). The breakfast selection was pretty impressive given the size of the hotel and was particularly helpful before catching an early morning flight. Otherwise, you're surrounded by great options in cafes and bakeries within a quick 2-3 minute walk. The only thing to be mindful of is the sound transmission between floors given the age and construction of the building (typical throughout the city and not isolated to this hotel). The hotel did their best to limit this in the bathroom and closet areas, but in the bedrooms you may hear some noise from those in the room above you when things are relatively quiet. Not a deal breaker for most people, but something to be mindful of for light sleepers. Will definitely consider staying there again when we return!

Just an all around great place. We stayed in the big room pictured as a family of 5. Lots of room for everyone. The staff is very helpful with arranging boar rides or rides from/to airport/train station. The location is close to everything. Highly recommend, and would definitely stay there again.

The staff were well above average, friendly, helpful and always happy to assist. The room was not what I expected looking at the website as we were in room 2 (disability room but not needed) after moving from room 1 which was on the ground floor as well and felt like we were hidden behind the front counter, our bathroom was literally under the stairs and the shower was terrible as you could hardly stand under it as its a hand held. We were in a great location on the canal and a view out our window was nice but hard to see. Breakfast wasn’t great. I’m sure the rooms upstairs look like the website but we didn’t get to see them. I would have liked to upgrade but they didn’t have any rooms to let at this time. I would recommend staying but not on the ground floor. Once again the staff were amazing.

We spent 3 nights at the Ruzzini Palace hotel. We paid slightly more for a superior room overlooking the canal, and it was well worth it. The room was beautiful, very well laid out and the facilities were excellent. The staff were all very friendly, professional and very customer focused. Nothing was any trouble for them. We received a courtesy call before we arrived to advise on travel arrangements. During our stay the staff were only too happy to help, including our travel arrangements back to the airport on our day of departure. We would definitely stay at the Ruzzini Palace hotel again and would have no hesitation in recommending it.
