Hotel Bella Venezia

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bella Venezia! The location was absolutely fantastic—right in the heart of Venice and just a short, easy 2-minute walk to the Rialto Bridge, where the boat to the airport departs. It was incredibly convenient for exploring the city, with all the major sights, shops, and restaurants just steps away. The hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The breakfast was also great, offering a good selection of fresh and tasty options to start the day. Overall, if you’re looking for a hotel in Venice with a prime location, cleanliness, and a good breakfast, Hotel Bella Venezia is a fantastic choice. The staff also very very helpful.

We received a very warm welcome from Martina at the desk at the start of our 3 night stay in April. The reception staff were all amazing - nothing was too much trouble and they didn't mind how many questions you asked them. We appreciated their knowledge and expertise. They really are the best. The hotel is in a very good location as many others have commented. We spent a lot of time using the water taxis and Rialto taxi/bus stop was a 5 minute walk away. We also made full use of the 48h travel pass which was great value. Our aim was to explore areas away from the main tourist hubs. The public areas of the hotel were lovely. Our room on the first floor was spacious and the bed comfortable. It was also quiet apart from the occasional gurgling of pipes. However, the bathroom was quite dated and the hair dryer was an old fashioned one, wall-mounted with a pull-out blower which was extremely weak. I haven't seen one of these for decades! It didn't matter to me as I have short hair but if you don't, maybe bring your own hair dryer. Our room was kept spotlessly clean. There was a good choice of food at breakfast but the orange juice was disappointing - probably UHT not fresh or freshly squeezed. If you didn't want coffee from the self service machine staff were happy to make you a cappuccino or similar from the machine in the bar. We were pleased to have breakfast as part of our room rate to save traipsing round for suitable cafes. The bar area always had iced water available to help yourself any time, plus bowls of sweets which pleased my husband!
