The hotel is so beautiful, it’s tucked away from the busy areas but easy to reach them if needed. The area around the hotel is full of authentic shops and galleries and not crowded like the main areas. We organised for the hotel to pick us up from the airport and I would highly recommend this as to pull up outside the hotel in a water taxi was great. The staff in the hotel were so friendly and helpful. We were given a complimentary room upgrade which was lovely. Our room had a private terrace where our breakfast was served each morning. The selection for breakfast was excellent. The hotel is an oasis of calm in a very busy city. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is just perfect.

This place is an absolute dream! We arrived by water taxi (highly recommend—it sets the tone beautifully) and were greeted like old friends by Marco and Thomas. They welcomed us into a stunning parlor with a glowing fireplace, where we were offered glasses of prosecco in elegant stemware, accompanied by snacks while our room was being prepared and our luggage was brought up. The service here is so seamless it feels almost invisible—like magic. You rarely see the staff, yet your every need is anticipated, and your room is refreshed to perfection without ever being disturbed. And the rooms? Pure magic. Ours was spacious by any standard—especially in Europe—with a walk-in shower, heated bathroom floors, a full walk-in closet, and best of all, a private rooftop terrace offering breathtaking views. We had to laugh reading another review about the “territorial but charming” seagull who visits the rooftop—yes, we met him too, and he only added to the charm. We fell so in love with the hotel, it was hard to leave. But when we did venture out, returning felt like stepping back into our own peaceful sanctuary, far removed from the bustle of the city. An unforgettable experience—we’re already dreaming of our return.

Great boutique hotel of superior quality. The location is completely central and at the same time, in a much more agreeable place than the overcrowded San Marco district. The 2 Euros traghetto by La Salute, 50 yards far from the hotel takes you to San Marco, non-stop from 9am to 6pm. The 5-10 mn of Gran Canale crossing guarantees a real Venetian experience. The Dorsoduro district is airy, stylish, beautiful, authentic. This hotel is a hidden gem. Rooms are exquisitely decorated the Venetian way and perfectly equipped. The whole staff makes you feel part of the family. They are so attentionate, helpful, kind, generous and professional that you do not want to leave the place. The welcoming, the breakfasts, the stay, they fill you already with great memories before you start enjoying your day in Venice. A special thank you to Marco, Thomas, Fiore, the breakfast team, and the room team. A great place. We were really emotional when we left.
