One of my favorite hotels in Venice, hits a great balance between price, location and room levels. The cannareggio area where the hotel is located is somewhat quitter and less crowded than San Marco and other touristic hotspot while being well connected in terms of footbridges and overall most touristic destinations and museums are less than 30 mins away on foot. Also few great bacari in the surroundings (typical venetian bars where you can enjoy a class of wine and have small bites) and a phenomenal artisanal gelato shop. Room was nice and relatively spacious by Venice standard, the hotel also offers an early check in service at a reasonable price that was particularly welcomed.

The room is a bit old. The hotel garden is very big. The staff is very very very nice. It's just that it's a bit troublesome to go to the scenic spot. The hotel is slightly off the beaten track.
