The hotel is slightly dated, yet the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, close to Dashashwamedh Ghat, where you can enjoy a vibrant evening ceremony. The view from the room overlooking the river is breathtaking. Highly recommend dining at Aadha-Aadha Café for clean, tasty, and affordable meals. The rooftop ambiance is lovely. Mona Lisa Café is another great nearby option. Overall, a good stay for its location and views, despite minor issues.

Staying at Wander Station Varanasi was an absolute highlight of my trip! From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed with warm smiles and impeccable hospitality. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the ghats and the iconic Kashi Vishwanath Temple, making it the perfect base to explore the soul of Varanasi. The hostel itself is a traveler’s paradise. I stayed in one of the dorms, and the room was spotless, with comfortable beds and air conditioning, which is a lifesaver in the heat. The rooftop terrace offered the most stunning views of the Ganges, especially during sunrise and sunset. It was breathtaking to enjoy a chai while gazing over the ancient city. The staff were beyond helpful, always ready to offer suggestions on things to do and places to eat. They even helped me organize a boat tour ***** the Ganges, which turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life. What I loved most was the vibrant and friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re a solo traveler or with friends, Wander Station makes it easy to connect with fellow explorers. The hostel’s community vibe is so strong—you feel right at home! If you’re planning to visit Varanasi, don’t think twice about staying here. It’s not just a place to rest your head; it’s an experience you’ll carry with you forever. The property was a bit difficult to locate at first, as the pathway was meandering through various narrow lanes of varanashi. But on reaching the place, found the property to be quite good. Got a free upgrade of rooms as our booked room was under maintenance. The room was decently sized, well maintained. Bathroom was nice and clean. What stole the show was the ganga views. The hotel is situated right on the ghat, and you get great views from window as well as the adjacent common balcony. Room service and support staffs were good. Food was decent.

This is a hotel that impressed us during our trip to India. The service was very attentive, although it only lasted for one night. We went to TAKE A BOATRUDE FOR CEREMONY at 5:15 in the morning. The hotel arranged a boatman and waiter on time to guide us on the boat, and prepared the blanket very thoughtfully. It is hard to imagine how cold we would be without the blanket. Then we went to breakfast. A waiter provided us with services. Usually they started the meal at 7 am, but because we left the hotel at 7 am, they prepared some hot meals in advance, and they were very warm. Then on time, the boatman and PORTER took us on board and went to Baiqiao to meet our driver. They didn't leave until they put the boxes in the car. The key point came, the driver whispered, the hotel front desk started to call him at 5 o'clock in the morning, and constantly reminded him that he must wait for us early, for fear that we were delayed or could not find him. In fact, we didn't tell the hotel in advance, we needed them to remind the driver and so on. We just told the front desk that we were departing at 10 o'clock and we needed to depart from the hotel at 7 o'clock. Makes the hotel more nervous than us, afraid of being late and so on. Nice hotel. Clean and nice bedroom. Big and new which is not common in Varanasi. Staff very kind and helpful. Restaurant a little dark and not as new as the rooms. Totally worthy to stay. Is relaxing going back to this hotel after the intensity of Varanasi day life.

Recommended by the hotel, because the car can't stop directly at the entrance of the hotel by the Ganges River, about a few minutes away, when the hotel is approaching, there will be hotel staff to help resist heavy boxes into the hotel, and welcome juice will be sent to the door. Breakfast It ’s ok. I also sent a small souvenir when I left the shop. The main thing is that you can watch the sunrise and sunset on the roof of the hotel. There are also people taking a morning bath. It is a small port and the cruise is convenient.

Hotel was the best near Jangamvadi road. It is located in a prime location close to Kashi Vishwanath temple, Lahiri Mahasaya house, ghats, great shops nearby, great street foods etc. But the hotel is having great spacious rooms, clean and with good staffs around who are supportive. Restaurant is attached. Only problem was that because of high number of visitors during Maha Kumbh festival, the varieties on food were not enough.

Everything is excellent to say the least. Location is perfect. food is very fresh and tasty. special mention about the coffee in the breakfast buffet. just perfect👍 the staff is very courteous as is the nature of people in Banaras😊 hotel services at restaurant, room service,housekeeping were all very good and helpful. I loved my stay at the Ganges Grand. only the size of the room was small and it had no window or view. the travel desk was also very helpful .

Located in the center of Varanasi The location is very convenient. You can walk to the attractions If you want to spend most of your time by the Ganges or walk around the alleys and markets You can save a lot of time on calling a taxi, traffic jams, and traffic Unfortunately, there is constant traffic in the morning and evening, and you can still hear the horns when you sleep (I am used to it, so I still sleep as usual) The shower water is too hot and it is a bit difficult to adjust the hot and cold water I personally suspect that the pillows, sheets, and quilts are not cleaned or replaced (Although there is no smell, there are stains) I forgot to report it to the hotel at the moment, maybe it can be replaced after reporting it The service and attitude at the counter are very good (maybe because they are foreigners) They will help call a taxi and are willing to provide bottled water Generally, the experience of staying here is still very good

Pro: 1. Property location - on gauges ghat overlooking the river 2. Food - food is tasty 3. Staff - courteous and helpful. They help book boat for viewing ganga aarti 4. Close to temple: hotel is close to gate 2 around 500 mts from hotel. Con: since hotel is on ghat, no vehicles can go there. You have to walk to hotel from girija/church circle or nandi circle. You will have to take a auto rickshaw or cycle rickshaw to reach girija/church circle as cars stopped way back if varanasi is crowded. Check with hotel before proceeding. From girija/church circle, you will have to walk 1 to 1. 5kms. You call hotel, hotel swill send staff to carry bags and show you the way to hotel through small path climbing few steps food preparation takes time 20 to 40 mins depending what you order and number of poeple.
