People are friendly and trustworthy. Gaurav is excellent host. Ruby makes great coffee. Very close to everything you want to see in Varanasi. The Wi-Fi works perfectly. The hostel is only 5 min. walk from the Ghats and it is in a silent street. Very nice toproof

We have stayed here twice now and came back again to experience Varanassi and the comfort and security of Mother Hostel. It's a family managed business in a convenient location. Clean and safe, the manager Gaurav is a wealth of knowledge and very helpful.

Gaurav and his sister are very welcoming, the place feels like a family home, thanks for the stay. Now, tripadvisor asked me to write at least 200 characters in my review. I'll add that they can cook you homemade Indian dishes :)

Love mother's hostel, Gaurav the ower is awesome!, Good wifi, comfortable clean room, great bathroom, great shower pressure. Great location near mother Ganga, everything walking distance Thanks for having me stay.

Отличный отель. В 200 метрах от выхода на гхаты. Чисто, комфортно, дружелюбные хозяева. Удобная кровать, хорошая звукоизоляция . Горячая вода. Цена вообще меня удивила с хорошем смысле. Есть место для курения. Все очень понравилось. Однозначно рекомендую.

I am travelling with one of my best Friends. We didn't sleep in the hostel, because Gaurav only was our city Guide. We met hin in his hostel, which was very unique and clean. He knows exactly what he is doing and we saw a lot of hidden temples, which we safely wouldn't have found without him. Also he knows a lot about all the backgrounds and history of Varanasi. He also organized a very, very well organized boattrip on the mother ganga. All in all i would highly recommend booking him, because i felt safe and relaxed while Walking and cruising. Also he is very educated and social, which makes this guidance a nice experience. P.S.: I am very thankful he let me use a toilet without booking ;)
