The guest house is very close to the assi ghat that is just 200 meters and that is the only reason to choose it !however the room was very congested and stinky ! also there was a party going on on street hence it was a full disturbance i asked the owner to change the room due to noise but was given the answer that the noise is going to be heard everywhere! however the family is very polite and hospitable! their behaviour somehow managed to cover the other discomforts that i faced ! otherwise if you want to visit assi ghat in morning and specially for morning ganga aarti the place might be a good option in budget !

This guest house situated at a very nice place near to assi ghat. My experience was that good with this stay. Room is too small, bathroom water supply was very poor. During our stay they fixed their bathroom exhaust, which is not right thing to do. Did i bhaiya and aunty is very helpful.

Awesome Guest House, very friendly and great location. Second time visiting. And now they even have rooftop restaurant! Family treat me like a family member they are very friendly……..i highly recommend this place to everyone who love river and like to live in family guest house.

Nishad Family welcomes guests like family! Assi Ghat Area is a well-balanced location for staying, with wide and large roads, easy to walk and move around by tuk-tuk. I stayed there for a few days and felt comfortable, so I asked if I could stay longer. They always ask if there is anything I can help you with. The roof top is my favorite place, where I can do laundry, take a nap, play music, and feel Varanasi by looking at the Ganga in front of me at any time. The guest house is surrounded and protected by the temple. The family does puja in the morning and evening. Papaji is a music family that teaches Tabla and ***ishji teaches Bansuri. They convey Indian spirit and Indian knowledge. I am happy to have met such a heart-warming family.

I feel very lucky that I got the recommendation to stay in "Ganga Paying Guesthouse" whilst in Varanasi. The hosting family was so lovely and treated me like their own son. Like the Hindi saying: "Sad Kutch Milega" - everything is possible! Besides the lovely atmosphere, this guesthouse is one of the oldest in Varanasi Assi Ghat and has a unique view onto the Ganga. Highly recommended and thanks for everything
