Rats can be seen everywhere in hotel parking, and the hotel staff expressed that this phenomenon is normal and should not be surprised.
The hotel rooms and corridors are extremely dilapidated, the room lights are flashing for a few seconds, not worth the rent of over a thousand Hong Kong dollars per night, never recommend others to stay.

The hotel is very conveniently located, just a 6-7 minute walk to the subway station. It can be a bit noisy on weekends because there is a bar downstairs, but the area is safe at night.

The neighborhood is a little scary.
If you are concerned about security, I recommend choosing another neighborhood.

Location: Right in Yaletown, with easy access to public transportation.
Service: Cleaning once every three days, acceptable.
Facilities: Everything you need is provided, microwave is a plus. There is a rooftop on the top floor with a great view.

Don't consider this hotel if you have a car.
Under the current road construction in front of the hotel (Drake) it's extremely difficult to get to the hotel by car. There's also construction at the rear of the hotel which removes another access point to the property. Currently it's all one-way access to the hotel; not sure what it was like before the road construction as I never used this hotel before. If you aren't familiar with downtown Vancouver driving, it'll be quite a challenge if you missed your turn and have to circle back to retry again. You may end up on a bridge going south if not careful during your second attempt (left on Howe).
The hotel also charges what I consider exorbitant parking fees. $35 per day parking fees, for which the pricing wasn't noted in Trip.com's posting for this hotel (probably would scare away any potential guests with a car). We ended up paying an additional $150 on top of the ~$350 for the 3 days. This was charged at checkout. What a nasty surprise! That's over 40%extra!
The front desk folks apparently added this to my paperwork (which you sign when they take your $200 deposit). At checkout time the manager explained to me that the front-desk folks always explicitly asked the guest if they wanted this onsite underground parking. I don't recall this question being asked at all but I still paid the fees. The Indian manager there was rather cavalier about the entire situation and didn't offer any resolution. It's one of the reasons I'm posting this review,. I want future customers to be fully aware of this issue.
(BTW, because of the location of the hotel, this is a mandatory requirement if you drive a car. I didn't know this before, but the hotel has homeless people living around the area so finding public parking and then feeling secure about the vehicle will be challenging..)
Based on the above bad experiences I really can't recommend this hotel.
I'll have to resolve this with CTrip after the fact. My experience with CTrip is that CTrip has always been great at rectifying consumer injustices like this in the past.
