It was not the Vancouva.UBC Big Villa. It was a private home with no amenities just a bed. Had to try to communicate in a foreign language and no towel, soap or coffee..
I was locked out of the bathroom several times. I left the place cleaner than when I arrived.
Would not recommend this place at all nor this web site. Lots of misinformation

There is a park in front of the house, and it is about a 5-minute walk to the water playground. It was convenient to take the park bus.

Beautiful huge house suitable for travelers who don't mind staying in a shared house.
Wifi is excellent everywhere.
Also has a Laundry room.
The host is very helpful since their family lives in the house.
Location wise, it's easy to travel by bus to metro transit. Bus typically get you to downtown in 30 mins. Otherwise you can just rent a car and park it outside the house.
There's food and stores about 5 mins walk down the road, there's also a sports center if you wanna go for a run on their tracks.

The location of this store is very good. It is very close to Granville Island, Canada Place, UBC University, Stanley Park and Seabus Ferry. Living here, you don’t need to take a taxi to go to many tourist attractions. Traveling is very convenient.
In addition to the location, the landlord, Mr. Zhang and his wife, are also very nice and provide warm service. The only slight drawback is that this is a century-old house. In addition, the climate in Vancouver is a bit humid, so there is sometimes a slight damp smell inside. It would be better if the bathroom door was always kept open to improve ventilation!
