The location is very good, right next to the big fountain, it is very convenient to enter the ancient city, take a taxi or take a bus. service is top notch

Fabulous in every way, over the top service and friendly, helpful staff. This is the best option by far for a hotel adjacent to the main sights of Valletta and it is literally across the street from the central bus station which will get you all over the island of Malta. Perhaps my best 5 star hotel experience ever.

The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel has an excellent ambiance and it was a pleasure to be able to relax by the pool. Can’t fault a thing. Food in the Contessa restaurant was top quality. The facilities were very enticing.

Fantastic location! The pool area is so beautiful with food and drink. The gardens are beautiful as you walk to the pool area. The rooms are small but well appointed. Nice linens and brought additional pillows when asked. Appreciated the room attendant adding a luggage rack when noticed we had a suitcase in the floor. Bellmen were so attentive offering water after a long walk.../always ready to help. Breakfast was lovely on the terrace with plenty of good options. I found the concierge to be lacking and rather dismissive but the excellent service of others compensated for his poor behavior. It is a beautiful old hotel full of history. Would suggest you stay here as you are a short walk to all the restaurants and sites.

Great location within easy walking distance of shops, sights and restaurants. Good walking location and feels safe. Long established hotel but modern inside and very peaceful ambiance. Exceptional staff , well trained, friendly and attentive. Housekeeping first class. Ample sun beds and very good pool attendants to ensure availability as well as bring drinks and food.

I think it has been said before but after seeing the hotel on a documentary on U.K. tv we decided to visit. An exceptional hotel, we normally go to Gozo but this was a contrasting experience, the facilities are amazing and the staff are all friendly and provide excellent service with a smile. Easy access to Valletta and it’s sights and restaurants. We had an executive room with two balconies as it was a corner room. A nice place to relax after a day at the pool and we had the added bonus of being able to watch an amazing thunder and lighting storm from our balcony . The free soft drinks and the fact the cleaners tided our room every day added to the feel good factor. My only suggestion would be to add sandwiches to the poolside menu as we would have enjoyed a simple lunch at times. The food however was excellent both at poolside and in the Contessa restaurant. Afternoon tea on our last day finished of a very good week. Thanks to all the staff, especially Shan at poolside

A fantastic hotel well located. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Pool area was really tranquil and the staff were amazing. Lunch menu was delicious. Rooms were not big, really comfy bed and pillows, only downside was twin beds. Cannot fault this hotel was one of the best.
