We had such a great experience at this freshly remodeled hotel! From the warm welcome, the espresso machine and beautiful atrium where we spent hours planning our outings for the day. The rooms are spacious and after a long trip I had the best sleep I have had in a long time. This spot is a must stay!!

CASSIE THE MNGR. is unnecessarily rude, plus immature which means unprofessional! How does she hold her undeserved job position?? Unapologetic after her mistake while simultaneously giving us a silent blank stare just like a deer caught in headlights....

BEWARE of this location especially mngt. Cassie severely unprofessional and unhappy rude woman! She overcharged and without remorse nor apology, insteadof simply makingthings right as we're currently still owed! We'll never stay here again plus spread the word. As other recent reviews from other people collaborate with me, cassie is leaving customers a poor representation of SONESTA!

Beware the Sonesta Essential in Vacaville. If I could score this place a zero, I would. The management and staff are unfriendly, look stoned all the time, and very unprofessional. I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions due to the proximity to the Ice Rink my kids play but the convenience no longer makes up for the poor quality of the rooms and staff. I thought the Sonesta name meant quality but was surprised by the sticky carpet in our room, the amount of noise that was coming from the hallway, and the inability to maintain a comfortable room temperature. Further, the hotel recently had a flooding incident where they needed to close the hotel. They never reached out to let me know that my reservation was cancelled. Left me stranded and said it was not their problem. No email cancellation. No phone call. What a joke of a place.

What a wonderful place to stay. This is a beautiful hotel great rooms they even have kitchenette rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a pet friendly hotel also. I’d give them a 12 out of 10 because 10 out of 10 is perfect. But a 12 out of 10 is where a place goes above and beyond. This place does that. Darnalynn, Robert, Robin and the rest of the staff treat you like family. They even offer wine tours.

My experience was awesome, we had a good sized party here at this hotel and Dee the event coordinator was great, she made our groups party a stress free and fun experience for myself and my wife, I will definitely have any future events at this hotel thanks to her, anyone working in customer service should really take notes from Ms. Dee because that’s how customer service should be

It was a good stay all the way up until i was leaving and there was this older gentleman screaming at his staff saying some absurd things . I won’t be returning due to this tho I did call in about this and i learned that he is the general manager named Robert. I feel bad for those staff members . Stay at your own risk but that’s not what i want to witness or hear while staying at an establishment.

The staff were amazing. At checkout there was an older man at the desk. He was screaming at the ladies @ front desk This is not acceptable, and nobody deserves to be treated with blatant disrespect, Come to find he is the general manager Robert

We stayed at the Sonesta for my birthday weekend and had a wonderful time. We coordinated with their event manager and booked the wine shuttle to go to a nearby winery in Fairfield and rented out one of the banquet halls for a dinner reception and we had a blast. The front desk and all of the staff were great and very helpful, they answered all our questions. The room was clean and bright, and the room service, and complimentary breakfast was excellent. My husband and I will be back to stay again soon.
