Jetwing Kaduruketha

Starting off with the location, simply breathtaking and relaxing. Accommodating along with the view from the chalet was extraordinary. You get to experience a lot during the stay and hopefully we covered everything. You can have a paddy field walk, visit to Kirindi oya (has a safe direct entrance from the hotel), do a cycling around the property/ along the paddy fields, visit their organic farm and animal farm (which my child enjoyed a lot) and lot more. Not to mention the pool. Next is the food, simply the best local food I have ever tried in my life and most of them were prepared with organic harvests from hotel’s field and farms (sooo fresh) and chef Subath demonstrated the best culinary presentation which my family have ever experienced. Next the people, oh my god such a wow. From the moment you enter the hotel it’s a no worry zone. You name it, they have it. Special kudos to General manager Mr. Nadun who was so attentive for every detail of all the guests which demonstrates a far beyond role than a general manager. Next was Ms Sanduni who took such a good care of us and showing the points of attraction and what to do around the property and my child loves her. We visited for my birthday and she had made arrangements for a nice celebration with a unique birthday cake made with organic rice (definitely should try that ). Next our personal caretaker Ms. Dilani who went beyond her duties to take a good care of us and made our stay at Jetwing Kaduruketha extra special. Finally I would like to say I highly recommend this place and I see this as a hidden Jem which needed to be explored and my only worry was that I couldn’t stay for another day. Team Kaduruketha, take a bow and you deserve it. ( not to forget that we got gifts as a welcome and as a departure too 🥹)

Brilliant hospitality, beautiful hotel and excellent food. Perfect for families, this was a magical place to visit with incredible views. The staff were so welcoming, the service was really personal given it is a small hotel, and our 9 and 5 year old loved seeing the river, the paddy and the abundant wildlife, plus the pool of course! Food was delicious, both western and Sri Lankan.

A wonderful hotel. The resort is just beautiful, lots of open space and amazing views of the rice fields. The pool is large and cooling and the villas are very private and have every amenity- the illy coffee machine was a wonderful touch! There is no air con, but the villas are well ventilated. The breakfast was plentiful, and the restaurant has a good choice of international and local food. They provide bicycles so you can get around the resort, through the paddy fields and the river that is located on the property. The resort is outside of Ella, a good 45 min drive, so its very isolated and relaxing, it was wonderful to come back to the resort after the hustle of touring and Ella town. The staff are all lovely, and they organised some local tours and driver at a reasonable price. If I had to be really picky, the SPA could have more ambience, the treatment rooms are fairly bare and don't have music, and the whole SPA area is not really that welcoming. Also we noted lots of families, including our own, so perhaps a games room or ping pong table etc would add something for the kids when the heat of the day prevents exploring and swimming etc All in all, the resort is just stunning, we would not hesitate to stay again and recommend to others.

We visited Jetwing Kaduruketha in July and had a lovely, memorable experience. We felt their genuine, warm welcome from the very first moment. There were little surprises that captivated us: complimentary homemade sweets and ‘saravita’ at the welcome, and a homemade popsicle at departure. Also, their organic peanut pouch awaited us in the room when we entered. The landscape is breathtaking, with organic paddy fields, a butterfly park, huge mountains, a soothing river running alongside, and innocent wildlife roaming around. Each dish was visually stunning and absolutely delicious. Hats off to the hotel management for maintaining an eco-friendly concept in every part of the property. Also, acknowledge their organic farming and support for local farmers. Highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a calm and relaxing, nature surrounded experience with exquisite meals.
