Como idea base, es que recomiendo siempre alojar acá en Valle Sagrado, previo a ir a Machu Picchu y hacer otros tours en la misma zona, ya que el trayecto a Ollantaytambo es más corto, está a más baja altura que Cusco y por ende, disminuyes los riesgos del mal de altura. Dicho lo anterior, por el circuito del tour operador Exoticca, me dieron este hotel de 3 estrellas, que esta muy bien cuidado. Los jardines dentro del recinto llama mucho la atención de lo bien cuidado que está y de la tranquilidad que te da. La habitación que me tocó es sencilla, la cama esta buena para descansar, si la encontré un poco corta y eso que mido 1,72 mts., y la televisión la verdad es que falló un poco porque la señal no era muy buena, pero no le di mucho valor a esto último, ya que la conexión a Internet funcionó muy bien El desayuno, tiene lo justo y necesario, no esperen tanta variedad. En una de las noches, fui al bar y me tomé un par de Chilcanos bien buenos, recomendable absolutamente. Vi también que ofrecían pizzas. Esta a unos 15 minutos a pie del centro de Urubamba, que es un lugar muy tranquilo y seguro. Si quieres llegar más rápido, puedes tomar un taxi (bien particulares que son), y algunos me cobraron 2 soles, otros 3 soles, y uno que ya se pasó y me cobró 5 soles en la noche de vuelta. En resumen, buena estancia, buen descanso y recomiendo si o si este hotel los días antes de ir a Machu Picchu

Lovely Hotel with the nicest grounds I have personally ever seen in a hotel, immaculate gardens surround the rooms. The rooms were spacious and clean with fantastic Andean views. Friendly helpful staff. Outside the hotel is a small town, we didn’t go into the town as it didn’t really cater for tourists, I’m sure the more adventurous may enjoy it. We ate in the hotel with offered a reasonable choice of foods but all very nice. Breakfast offered a limited choice but was enough. The hotel was our base for the Sacred Valley and the amazing Machu Pichu.

What a gem! The hotel is beautifully landscaped and right on the edge of town. The service is very nice. Everyone we encountered was very serious about their role. We were with an Exoticca tou r(great trip) and arrived late and left early each day we were here. I really wanted to walk all around the grounds because it was so neat, tidy and beautiful. We did hear dogs barking but it wasn't enough to keep us awake.
