Ramada Encore by Wyndham Whale Cove Hervey Bay

We stayed in apartment 65, it was gorgeous! So well kept and it had a partial pool view. Be warned if you are arriving by Uber or Taxi that you need to check in at the main reception at the Ramada hotel side. Full thanks to the staff there who were so helpful and tried their best to assist when our K'gari trip was cancelled. The WiFi situation in the Whale Cove apartments is a bit annoying. Each unit has their own WiFi but there isn't any general WiFi around the complex or pool area. The location here is good though, not far from Urangan marina and there's a Woolworths not far away.

We stayed 2 separate nights here in different units. The first unit No. 67 was on the top floor, so we had to haul our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. The unit screen sliding doors did not close, the TV did not work as the remote was missing (reception offered to get someone to resolve the next day but we were only staying 1 night) and the shower took forever to have warm water and the water pressure was horrendous. The 2nd night, we requested a ground-floor apartment, and it was so much better in every way. It was great to be able to unwind after work and watch TV and have a hot shower with decent pressure. There is definitely a difference in the unit quality. The grounds were well kept, and whilst we did not use the pool, it looked lovely. I'm not sure I would stay again given how hit and miss the units are, and also, the location is a bit out of the way if you don't have a car.

Stayed here for seven days and had the best time Ease of check in and check out Pool and spa where amazing, pool was a little cold but once in was okay would like to be there on hotter days so will definitely be back Only down side was that we were on third floor with stairs and I do not do stairs very well due to bad knees so when we go back will see if we can get lower level

Great 2 bedroom unit stay for our family of 2A and 2c. Shared bathroom including toilet in between rooms and ensuiting to the main. Shower head is fixed fairly low on the wall, so not ideal for tall people, water pressure however was great! Extremely comfortable bedding, best sleep in ages! Lounge was well equipped with large tv and comfortable recliners. Kitchen was well equipped and in room laundry was handy. Spare lounge/sofabed room was great for storing luggage. Large pool that had a crisp temperature for a hot day.. Bbqs close to the pool area for use. Undercover dedicated room parking close to room allocation. Secure entry to resort with room key fob. Fairly quiet resort considering it was school holidays, short walk to the boat club precinct. Would stay again.

Where to start! Room was disgusting, not cleaned. Mold EVERYWHERE. I've never seen anything like it. Had to self check-in being a Sunday night, no one was working so therefore no one to complain to. Benches had pepper grinds and toast crumbs all over. Stovetop and oven had months worth of build up and grime. Couches were stained and had crumbs. Floors weren't mopped. Bathroom was so gross. Mold, mold, mold. Sink hadn't seen bleach in forever. The build up there was 5mm thick! All this on top of the fact we booked for 5 but was only provided bedding for 4. My son had to sleep on the filthy couch....and just two towels were provided!! No accountability. No offer of compensation. Charged $250 for this monstrosity. When l was staying there the property got broken into. As a result my car was damaged and management would not take responsibility. Clearly they do not have the appropriate insurance or security for the guests and their possessions as they gave me the run around and finally said it wasn’t their problem. I now have to go legal to recover the costs of the repairs to my car. Very disappointing for safety l would never stay there again

Planned to spend two nights here but checked out after one. Our room had holes in the curtains, presumably made by moths, and the carpet was filthy. At check out we were told the carpets were being replaced in March 2023, but still no excuse for not getting dirty marks out of them. The apartment itself was a good size and we had a walk in shower( most have shower over bath). It was also well equipped so was a real shame we couldn’t face two nights there. Large pool was clean and seemed well maintained

Amazing stay, accommodation was a three bedroom townhouse that was modern,spotlessly clean,spacious with fully equipped kitchen, large fridge perfect for families. Pool and BBQ area was awesome grounds immaculately maintained highly recommend.
