Данный отель на 6 номеров находится на первой линии. Континентальный завтрак предлагаемый туристам не отличается разнообразием, но достаточно сытный. Номер в отеле удобен для проживания. Хороший санузел. Сотрудники отеля доброжелательны, уборку номера предлагают Вам каждый день. Вечером в ресторане очень хорошая морская кухня с демократичными ценами. Менеджер отеля Kapila Seneviratne всегда поможет Вам.

We had the worst experience at this beach restaurant. He lured us in with a promise of free beach beds if we bought food from them. Trusting them, we ordered several dishes, which were quite pricey. After finishing our meal, we were shocked when a guy working on the beach demanded 1000 rupees for the bed! When we protested, saying we were told it was free with our meal, he just shrugged it off. We saw him pocket the money right in front of us. This is clearly a scam he's running to trick tourists.

We stopped for drinks and food in the restaurant. Enjoyed our evening but afterwards realised we were charged more on the Apple pay then the bill - When realised next day had no way to prove as we didn’t have copy of the bill. Should have checked more , tap and go isn’t always beneficial!!!

My daughter and I went for an evening meal. We ordered fish, 45 minutes later still no food though they did delivery the beer which we had already consumed. The table next to us had been waiting over 1 hour without food and went to complain. They got their food but for some reason only ate part of it and left, obviously their night was spoiled. I also complained, the manager came to the table with 2 tiny bottles of sprite assuming thiis was enough to chill my mood. I told him to at least offer something decent and declined the sprite. Nothing else came. Though they were not serving food on time they were on time with all the alcoholic beverages orders in quantity. Another couple waited over half an hour for someone to take their order, they complained but still no one came so they got up and left. Obviously more profit and less work serving beer. When our food arrived, king fish, I have to say it was very good. But the experience was unpleasant, the service and attitude of the manager and staff was unacceptable. I was served with a bill with a hefty service charge. I refused to pay for the service charge. I wouldn’t go back in a hurry after that experience.

Everything I liked was spoiled by loud music from the bar, barking dogs, and kittens jumping on the table. During cleaning, 10,000 LKR was stolen from us. The hotel administration did not react to this incident in any way, although strong evidence was provided of theft by the hotel cleaner. Therefore, we can’t say anything good, except for the location. There are no safes in the rooms, I think they steal from everyone, not everyone notices. I do not recommend this hotel. Moreover, when we wrote a review on Booking, in response, the hotel administration, instead of apologizing, began to refute what was said and blatantly lie about what happened, although the hotel manager himself counted the money, looked at the receipts and we did not go anywhere that day. Therefore, I warn you - the CLEANER STEALS at the hotel - do not trust him with the keys!!! This is the only bad place and event in Sri Lanka - where we rested for a month in different places and hotels.

The Villa Hotel - Unawatuna compares favorably with its location in the center of the beach, the opportunity to have breakfast on an open shady terrace overlooking the ocean. The hotel building is made in the traditional Sri Lankan style, the doors, windows and cornice are inlaid with wood - a very pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast is modest but sufficient. The hotel staff is attentive and caring. The hotel is not for a relaxing holiday, because the restaurant plays loud rhythmic music from lunch until late in the evening, more suitable for a disco than for dinner. The room on the first floor overlooks the restaurant - it could be a staff room but not a guest room, don't take it.

The strongest side of this hotel are: location,architecture of the bilding, equipment of rooms, level of room service. The weak side : absolutely stupid very loud rave music every day till night. This music doesn't fit this lovely place but I think somebody from personal like it very much. Nobody dance but this music hammering to the brain, like torture.

This is our third time vacationing in Unawatuna, 2011, 2014, and now. A lot has changed, but the main thing remains the same. Excellent cuisine at The Villa restaurant! You can order a dish of your choice, sauces, spiciness level. You will not be disappointed, you will enjoy a wonderful delicious lunch or dinner on the ocean shore with the sound of the surf! The very attentive staff will listen to your preferences and will be happy to help you choose a dish. The chef works wonders and will surprise you with a combination of flavors and aromas! Believe me, this is not an advertisement, but a recommendation from the bottom of my heart! The freshest seafood, delicious vegetables and fruits of this beautiful island in this restaurant will not leave you indifferent! If you are in Unawatuna for more than one evening, the restaurant staff will find and purchase even the rarest fish based on your order! Most importantly, your sincere attitude towards your visitors will make you come back here again! You will always be welcome here as if you were your best friend! And yet, the food here is quite fast and the service is fast, which is very rare for Sri Lanka!

Lovely room on 3rd floor, big 4 poster bed with mosquito net. The only downside was the constant dogs barking and traffic.Breakfast was lovely. Lovely location for the beach and staff very helpful. Couldn't comment on other food options as we eat elsewhere
