I saw the room was 167 square meters on Ctrip, but it turned out to be a tiny room. It's too far from the city center and scenic spots, and there are few buses, but it's ok to drive by yourself.

Booked in Feb25 for a stay in May25. Turned up(from Australia) for our stay only to find the place is "closed until further notice". Took our deposit, no emails to tell us what was going on.... Tried calling their phone, "disconnected". Do not book this place

Cancelled 3 rooms we had booked for Cartmel Races. No explanation or warning. We have tickets booked for the races and unless we pay 3 times as much we can’t go. Noticed on another review they cancelled there room for may. Obviously can get more money. Disgusting.

Booked room well in advance for a stay due in May 2025 for a wedding - cancelled booking with no explanation or follow up to explain. Really not an acceptable service. Chased up with the property and still no response. Bookings made should be honoured.

A really good find for 2 nights. Good food, quiet, wifi, and near the main road for convenience. The room was a little warm but nothing turning the radiator down couldnt fix. Bed was comfy, shower was good, tv in the room. Everything you need for a little break to the beautiful South Lakes.

All the staff were very hospitable and friendly. They were very attentive and professional. The hotel therefore felt more like staying with people you knew.
The food was very good and to a high standard. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
A unique building and layout.
I was certainly very happy with my stay and would certainly stay there again.
