Problem checking in took about 40minutes but I think this was trip.com fault as wanted payment when I clearly showed it fully paid before hand.
The place was clean and seemed new self check in machines not working and staff looked over worked and stressed.
Breakfast was terrible as compared to other chains under cooked food and to be fair other guests being too greedy and taking all the breakfast items.

The hotel was very comfortable and conveniently situated. The room was a good size and the bed was perfect for a good night's sleep. The breakfast each morning was a highlight of the stay, great food and good choice, and we were very well looked after by David, who took great care over dietary needs and provided excellent friendly service.

Lovely clean hotel. Good standard. Even the heating works well. Great service from the restaurant staff both for breakfast and dinner. There is plenty of decent parking plus they have EV chargers. A+. There is a McDonald's, booths store and a Shell station all within walking distance.

Amazing stay Lovely friendly, helpful staff from the moment you check in until check out. A mention to Holly and Sam. Room good finding Larry the lamb was a good Easter activity idea for the hotel. Dinner and breakfast great choices great food good value for money.

Great friendly staff from the moment we arrived, dinner in the restaurant and breakfast service throughout our stay. Picked for the location and enjoyed for the people. In easy reach of many of the locations and attractions we wanted in the southern Lake District. Will certainly use again

2nd time at this hotel, and it didn't disappoint. Staff are cheerful & go out of their way to help even when under pressure. Room was clean and well equipped and was so quiet. Although slightly on the edges on Ulverston, the town is easily accessible by foot and its easy to get to Windemere, Coniston, Ambleside and many more. Thank you & we'll see you again, soon

Bathroom absolutely stink of cigarette smoke the whole time we were there (room 209) and we could heard others coming and going between 01:30am to just before 03:00am. So much for a restful night as they promise. Staff were dismissive and said they couldn’t do anything about it. Terrible customer service and care.
