Facilities: The hotel looks well decorated, and there is a four-star plaque hanging in the lobby, but it feels that the details are not up to the four-star standard.
Hygiene: It looks good when you enter the room, but many details are actually not clean - 1. Both mouthwash cups are dirty (there are traces of being burned and melted by cigarettes, maybe some guests use the cups as ashtrays?); 2. The glass cups in the mini bar are obviously not cleaned; 3. The toilet area is not mopped; these are all obvious stains.
Environment: The whole environment of Ulaanbaatar is very windy and sandy, and the cars on the road are dirty, so the hotel is also very dusty, about 25 minutes walk from Genghis Khan Square.
Service: I don't know if the English communication is not smooth, the service is disappointing - 1. On the first day, the front desk asked us whether we would eat breakfast in the room or go down to the restaurant. We said we would go down, but they knocked on the door and sent it up at 8 o'clock (breakfast was a Western set meal); 2. On the second day, we chartered a car to go out before 9 o'clock, so we told the front desk that we hoped it would be sent to the room at 8 o'clock. As a result, when we went down at 8:20, he said he forgot... After waiting for 5 minutes, we hurriedly ate in the restaurant; 3. The staff who cleaned the room also forgot to give us toiletries... But when we checked out, the front desk helped us use the software to call a car to take us to the train station.
Regarding the trip to Mongolia, we chartered a car to go to Terelj National Park. There was a horse riding project on the roadside. It was originally said that each person would pay 25,000 yuan for a round trip (2 hours). There were two of us, but in the end they said that the total was 150,000 yuan (including the person who took us on horseback riding, which was also included in our expenses). We agreed, but the guy leading the team couldn't tame one of our horses, so we only rode for 20 minutes in total and took the car back. In the end, they said they would charge 100,000 yuan... In such a place, we considered ourselves unlucky to encounter such ”barbaric” behavior. The 20-kilometer road on the return trip was blocked for 3 hours (the tour guide said this is a daily routine in Ulaanbaatar).
There are many Koreans here, and the chain convenience stores are all Korean GS25 and CU. In general, if your vacation is very precious, Mongolia is not worth traveling.
The main advantage of the hotel is its location. It is in the very center of Ulaanbaatar. Opposite there is a 24-hour minimarket CU, where you can buy everything you need. There is also a supermarket with a larger selection nearby, open from 9 to 21.
We stayed in a Standard room on the fifth floor. There was no hair dryer in the room, the light in the bathroom and in the backlight above the bed was blinking. The windows are very dirty, so it is better not to move the curtain away from them, it will be more comfortable))
Breakfast is brought to the room from 08:30 to 09:30, but if you do not walk to the reception and do not remind - they will not bring it :) and the room will not be cleaned either, if you do not remind. The staff does not speak English well, Google Translate from Mongolian helped out.
Breakfast consists of a sausage, a fried egg and two pieces of bread, and they also bring a tea bag. The room has a kettle, mugs and glasses. No refrigerator.
The bed is very comfortable, we slept well.
Overall: if you soberly assess the price-quality ratio, it is acceptable. Don't expect too much. For a short stay of one or two nights on a limited budget, it will do.

The room is very clean and well-equipped. The hotel is in a good location and the transportation is very convenient. The service staff are warm, thoughtful and very professional. Recommended!
This Ibis is much better than the ones I stayed in China and Korea. The room is big and clean. The waiter speaks good English and there is no communication barrier. The only problem is that the breakfast is room service. The variety is not rich enough, but the taste is good. There is a pedestrian street next to it, where you can eat and drink.

We had a very late (early in the morning) check in. smooth process. They brought breakfast boxes to the room around 9a. The breakfast was intentionally cold but good. Meat, eggs, salad, bread. There is also a couple of cafes near by to get other food and drinks. Breakfast was included in the price! Rooms were very reasonably priced.
It is comfortable and very good for a price. Had a funny accident, was given a key to the occupied room. Partially dressed man was there. :)) But then the room was changed. Safe did not work but was fixed, lamps did not work on night stands but I did not need it. Overlooking the construction site. The shower button could not switch, but when someone helped it was a great shower, water pressure. Location is not that beautiful but it had a good sauna, small swimming pool and a good small gym.
This slightly outdated apartment has a large living room and two bedrooms, making it affordable for six people.
The microwave and refrigerator are old, but usable.
E-Mart 3 is a five-minute walk away, and there's a GS25 convenience store and a Korean restaurant called Cheonsaranu within the apartment complex, making it convenient.
