The landlord's family is very nice. I left at 1pm, and he didn't make things difficult for me. It was spacious, bright and clean, with one room and eight beds. It was two kilometers away from the Ulaanbaatar Railway Station in the city center and 50 kilometers away from the airport. There was no train to the airport, but there was a bus. I didn't know where to get on the bus, and it cost 70,000 Mongolian monies to take a taxi. We spent 2 nights at the Town Yard and it was very convenient, clean and user friendly. For cyclists, there is space outside to store and pack your bike and sit and chat with other tourists, as well as the large living space downstairs. Our room had an en suite bathroom with toilet and shower. The breakfast was good and prompt from 8am. The location is handy to everything in UB. I would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely lovely accommodation, very clean and comfortable. The family who own it are really friendly and helpful. They also picked us up from the airport, which saved a lot of hassle after a long flight. Would recommend to anyone staying in Ulaanbaatar.
